Ly Nhon, Can Gio is a very good brackish water fishing spot. Here people can catch baramundi, baracuda, bream & other brackish water species. Besides this fishing spot is not very far from Ho Chi Minh city. The best way to go there is riding a bike.

I went to Can Gio with some Vietnamese students by motorbike and it took about 2 hours from the center of Saigon. Monkey Island is totally not worth it! First of all tourists pay double of the entrance fee that the locals pay. Secondly, the entire place is rundown and one large trash dump with many construction areas. There is... More

It's a nice way to get out of the city. The beaches aren't white sand if that is what you are looking for, but has cheap and fresh local seafood. Plus you get to take your motorbike on a ferry, which is fun.

We can visit if has a motorbike. Or by bus number 75 start from 23/9 Park - safe and very cheap (only 20.000 vnd). You can visit Vam Sat forest or Monkey island but be careful with monkeys- they're really professional pickpocket. If visit Vam Sat forest you can try crocodile fishing. When arrive to Hang Duong Market, you can... More

I love this part of the nature reserve as it provides many attractions - from mangrove forest to the monkey forest, especially boat rides in the mangrove forest - it is just AMAZING! Nature lovers will definitely love to be in Can Gio! Highly recommended!

After reading the many great reviews about this place, and since I have already visited Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels and thoroughly enjoyed it, we thought this would be another great day tour. We went via Saigon River tours. The staff are nice and attentive but I just felt that the tour was extremely exaggerated and overrated. we went... More

We joined a day tour to visit this reserve/wetlands. It was very interesting to see the mangroves, crabs, monkies (tons of them ), wild crocodiles and farm crocodiles. We even did crocodile fishing. It was fun. Although this is not the season for birds, we did manage to see kingfisher and some others. We did manage to see some bats... More

It's about 01 hour by car or motorbike from Ho Chi Minh city to Can Gio. I went there with my friend by motorbike. We like seeing things on the way and can stop any place to take picture. There were a lot of naughty monkeys at the forest and the beach is quiet nice. It's not really clean, however,... More

Firstly I have to say it is worth the trip there, you really get to experience the out skirts of Saigon as the locals do. From the city it took us two hours to get there (traffic pending can take longer of course). Despite reading a lot of negative comments we decided to venture out with a private tour. We... More
