Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park has a stocked fishing pond, where you can hire rods for 220k vnd for 3 hours.
That's the tourist price, possibly made up on the spot, but unlikely to be much more.
No signs, you need to ask for "cau ca" and get directed to the lady hiring out the rods.
Using live fish fry for bait.
Caught a clown knife fish, and saw a few other people catching similar.

If you have time to spare the Culture Park is a nice get away from the busy city.
It's a nicely laid out park with lovely gardens and sculptures dotted around the park for added interest.
There's a couple of places to get food/ drink on the edges of the park & it seemed to be a nice family park where you would see locals & tourists alike.

This is a great park with a lot going on it in. There seems to be a regular carnival in the park with many paid activities and games to be enjoyed. There are many food stalls with a selection of foods on offer as well a number of smaller cafés dotted around the park for a coffee or soft drink. There is a lake where many people fish and a number of fitness machines also spread around the park. It also has a skate park at the entrance and some tennis courts and a swimming pool to the back of the park. This is very much a family park where many families gather in the evening to walk, exercise or play games. A little out of the center but a nice place to spend a little time.

Short stop while on a City tour. Some type of structure in the park (forget what our guide said), quite a number of tall trees, gardens ok with shrubs and small trees cut to shape but in somewhat need of a trim. Plenty of plastic and other rubbish. Ok stop if passing but not a must visit place.

This is a nice park with nice gardens and at night it turns into a night market and mini fair grounds with rides and skill games, when we were here the was a ballroom dancing school doing their thing and plenty of buskers to keep you entertained, good place to fill in time

Culture park is a nice little place in the middle of district 1. Now I only guess its called culture park as that is what came up as the English interpretation on my phone when I turned on my phones GPS.
With some well landscaped gardens and pretty rest stops its big enough to escape the traffic and small enough for a 10 min relaxing walk.
With a Coffee in hand I entered the park heading towards Reunification Palace on the other side. I was surprised at some of the sites in the park along the way.
I stumbled across a early morning Thai Chi class I think it was in action and they invited me to join in. While I grasped the basic concept a few locals had a giggle at my efforts but in a nice way.
I found myself wondering through the park everyday and there was always something else to stop and look at.
I found it a nice place to escape the crazy traffic and just sit and recharge.
