All Huong Sen locations accept Visa for payment However this location does not. Don’t come if you expect to receive the same service as other locations

Best spa and massage in Ha Noi. Very local, very traditional, unique. I visit this place anytime I am in HaNoi

Do you like being watched while you get dressed and undressed? Watched while you bathe? Barked at while you are trying to relax? Then definitely sign up for the “VIP” experience.

I was excited for the two hour VIP package that included soaking in a tub, relaxing in a sauna and a long massage. What a disappointment. Rude and unfriendly staff, terrible atmosphere, uncomfortable table, and an OK massage. The woman who set up the room told me to get undressed while she set up, no robe to offer, was coming in and out of the bathroom while I showered. She pointed and barked for me to do this, do that. She sat in the same room on the other side of a glass wall facing me while I was the bathtub and sauna looking bored and impatient. Super relaxing right? I’m not the pinnacle of modesty but this was all very weird. When I didn’t understand something she said, she sighed heavily and rolled her eyes. What a burden I must be.

During the massage (different person), there were fluorescent lights on. No atmosphere. Weird uncomfortable hole in the middle of the table. People talking loudly outside the room, dropping things every 10 minutes. No one seemed to care at all. And at the end, the masseuse barged in while I was changing, didn’t knock, and sat in the corner of the room while I got dressed staring impatiently at her cell phone. She couldn’t wait for me to leave - she started cleaning the room. I’m not even sure they changed the sheet on the bed - looks like they were just changing the towels. I’ve had better massages for a fraction of this price. VIP? Pssssht please. Steer clear.

They have many options for package that you can choose from. For me, I got the second to the the top package and I think thats already enough. You can soak yourself to a wooden drum where it is filled with warm herbal water. After that, you can use the jacuzzi and go to different rooms for sauna. After taking shower, you will finally have your massage. The therapist I had was good and always checking with you about the pressure. The free food after the massage was not really that good. I think it was leftover for a long time or maybe I am not just used to eating that kind of porridge.

- herbal bath
- herbal jacuzzi
- salt sauna
- steam bath
- full body massage
- small meal
- secure locker

This is one of the best things about Hanoi. I went in not knowing what to expect. I paid the price on the front desk and away l went. I first took off my shoes and put them on a shoe shelf. Then I took off all of my clothes and put them in a secure locker. You’re given shorts to wear and the locker key.

First thing was a shower. You can either wear the shorts in the shower or take them off, but once you’re done put the shorts back on afterwards.

Second an herbal soak in a tub for a few minutes while drinking some tea. Then a herbal jacuzzi for just as long. Third is the salt wall sauna and steam room. The steam room has buckets for your feet. I think it’s for relaxing or something. Last in this room is a shower again and drying off. Drying off includes putting on new shorts. You’re only naked for a brief moment.

You get your stuff from your secure locker and are guided to a room for a massage. Your stuff is put into another secure locker underneath the massage table. So it’s safe and you can relax.

The massage is a bit aggressive at times but it wasn’t too bad. You receive a full body massage for about 50 to 60 minutes. You can pay an additional fee for a longer massage if you’d like. Biggest difference is just the amount of time spent on that body part. When it’s all done tip your massage person if you’d like. Then get your stuff. Don’t forget your shoes.

Lastly is a small meal included in the price. I had a fish and oyster oatmeal with fruit and tea to drink. You can buy additional items if you want. The menu is small.

Overall I really enjoyed myself. Do take note that the staff here speaks very little English. Also take note that you’re not the first English speaking person to wonder in and what a spa package. The staff is very friendly and will guide you to where you need to go.

Being passionate for massage for long, I got recommendation from my Hanoi local friend in Hương Sen, unfortunately it turned out to be a miserable experience in my 1st visit in Hanoi. First of all, I have to say their quality for masseurs’ still quite inconsistent. What happened to me I can’t understand the temple and the skill at all, just touch and rub without knowing the right place, which ppl won’t get any comfort during the service. In addition, the receptionist can’t understand English at all. So helpless when it comes to trouble or occasions. In short, it wud be the last choice I’ll make for massage in Hanoi.

Recommended by local friend who is a regular in this place. Booked a package of 350k VND for 105 mins massage. They have separate clusters for male and female customers, definitely not a place to miss in Hanoi, masseuses are well trained, very good at pressing strokes on your shoulders, stiff muscles and joints. Few selections of hot beverages and light refreshments are available after your session.

This is a very local spa but one of truly the best relaxing and invigorating massage to be experienced. The massage complete with ginger bath and rub down with experienced masseur that relax every part of the body for just less than 40usd is no where to be found. Men and women separate side but after a relaxed massage and all rest and enjoy light meal and drinks at the canteen free flow drinks. What more to ask.

I wasn't planning to visit Huong Sen, but my rickshaw driver took me here, and I was so glad he did.

I had an absolute blast with the staff as I am 138kg and don't mind the attention it causes.

The whole treatment involves a bath, sauna, steam room, shower, massage, a bit of food and tea. They have one bathing area for men and a separate bathing area for women.

I really enjoy the bath, sauna or steam room, as I was too big for the shorts and bath, and spending time in the heat when outside was 35, wasn't my first choice. However the massage was truly amazing.

I've had massages all over the world, and this one was right up there. The massage was firm, a mix of stroking / stretching / kneading and pressure points, with some heat applied behind the neck. My masseuse was fun and had a grip like a vice. There was some gentle love songs being played in the background, which was a nice touch.

The massage was so good, after a long week, it made me emotional with happiness.

I then had food and tea with my rickshaw driver.

I would recommend anyone staying in Hanoi to visit. During the daytime is best as after work hours the place gets very busy apparently.

P.S. If you want a reliable/caring rickshaw guy who speaks good English, then Vinh is your man +68 906089524.

Went there and wanted some info about a few hour service - they provide a105 minute session and what I received was some stupid laughter from a bell boy standing aside. Horrible experience.
