A fantastic 24 day trip to Thailand, Laos and Vietnam planned by Nancy of DH Travel - Feb/March 2019

A friend recently asked for travel suggestions. I immediately thought of our Southeast Asia trip planned by Nancy Hoa of DHTravel. Nancy planned a 24 day trip for myself and 5 others from mid-Feb to March, 2019. Friends flew into Bangkok from Ohio, and Vancouver, British Columbia. The hotels were all well-located but the ones that I remember the most were the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok with a rooftop pool and bar, also the Sanctuary Pakbeng Lodge near Luang Prabang, where you could watch the elephants bathing across the river, and then the Cinnamon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, where the ladies at the desk left us cute notes on our pillows and made us delicious coffee drinks every morning.
One of our first introductions to Thailand was a relaxing evening on the Grand Pearl dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River with memorable bridges and wats (Buddhist monasteries or temples) plus The Grand Palace which we visited the next day. Time flew by in Bangkok and after a little shopping, we were on board an overnight train to Chiang Mai, home to hundreds of elaborate Buddhist temples, like Wat Phra That Doi Suthep where children were dressed in costume along a dragon-headed serpent staircase. Nancy arranged a cooking class for us at The Asia Scenic Thai Cooking School in Chiang Mai and the lunch that we made was actually quite good. That evening we joined the crowded Chiang Mai Walking Street with entertainers, crafts and more delicious food.
My jaw dropped when I first saw Chiang Rai’s White Temple and later, the Mae Fah Luang Garden, both beautiful sites! Later, we didn’t know what to expect when we stopped to see several hill tribes of indigenous people in the northernmost Province of Thailand, (bordered by Myanmar and Laos). When our Mekong river boat docked, we were happy to see a group of young boys playing along the shore. We had brought small boxes of juice and when they figured out that a straw was attached, they were excited. We were soon in awe of women washing their clothes outside in a water corral, stooping to cook on pots on the ground, the Long Neck Karen females enduring coils around their neck, children eyeing us with cautious suspicion, daring to get closer, eventually allowing us to take pictures, shocked to see their faces on our phones. We met older women who explained to our guide in their dialect that they thought they were somewhere between 98 and 105 years old.
Staying at the beautiful Sanctuary Pakbeng Lodge Resort was a treat, as were the caves with over 4,000 Buddha icons nearby. The home-grown produce and outstanding textiles at Luang Prabang Street Markets were remarkable, as well as the 6AM alms ceremony with monks lined up to receive rice, the pottery makers in their huts, the exciting cycling in Hanoi, the chance to meet Nancy for drinks at the Coffee Club in Hanoi near the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, which we saw lit up at night, and the kayaking on Halong Bay - all memories I will never forget.
We also loved HUE and HOI AN, Vietnam - walked across the Japanese Bridge, rode bikes to the tree-lined Bai Tam An Bang (Hoi An) Beach and floated down the river in basket boats to our second cooking class…
and then, Ho Chi Minh City, WOW - So moving to see the military displays, Ho Chi Minh’s Presidential Palace, the Cu Chi tunnels, the beautiful architecture in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Post Office, the Independence Palace and the Vietnamese war from their perspective at the War Remnants Museum - a trip of a lifetime! I would not hesitate to have Nancy Hoa from DHTravel plan another trip for us!

We made decision to have our 10th wedding anniversary by a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, the fact this trip is very meaning with us, so that we asked a lot of the different agents in Vietnam as well as Cambodia, it is also lucky for us at that time because we were recommended to Nancy in DH Travel by my friend, she said that Nancy is the best and the most processional sales manager and travel operator who she has ever known, so that I also tried to contact with her regarding about my this trip.
After reviewing all information she provided us (it is very useful and different from other agents), we decided to book our trip through her, we also little worried because our this trip is very luxury and important to us (all our accommodation is at the best 5star), but I trust my friend who recommended Nancy to us as well as after looking all suggestions and the perfect detailed itinerary which Nancy sent to us, then we realize that this is the trip which it is worth for her to organize for our this wedding anniversary. All services on our trip such as the tour guide, meals, transfers, hotels, flights....is perfect, the thing I like the most from all tour guides and drivers is they are very on time, they work very processional. Our trip is until 18 days in two countries Vietnam and Cambodia and all our days is our most memorial moments, we love our each moment...until now when you has come back home already, but I could not still yet forget any moment.
I do not know what you will do with your anniversaries :) :), but with me I will come back Vietnam if I have any chance or anniversaries..., and finally I do not mind highly recommend Nancy (DH Travel) to anyone who I know if they intend to travel Vietnam and Cambodia (Nancy also said with me when we met her at our hotel in Hanoi that her company also organize all trips to Myanmar, Thailand and Laos).

Nancy from DH Travel organised our whole trip from and what a great job she did. Did not need to worry about anything as she ensured we saw the best places from these two wonderful countries. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her team of excellent tour guides that gave us a really superb insight. Can't say enough good things, We really enjoyed ourselves though very hectic tour as we did all this in 13 days. Organised the tour from the UK via email with Nancy.

We just had a wonderful holiday in Cambodia and Vietnam organized by DH Travel and everything was absolutely perfect. Since the first email Nancy was very helpful in setting up a travel itinerary including all our requests and was also immediately reachable when we had to change in the last minutes our arrival plans due to a missing connecting flight.
Shall we ever go back to Vietnam we will definitely organize again with DH Travel.

We have just returned from a 15 day trip -the best of Vietnam and Cambodia and can't recommend this highly enough. We were a family from UK ( 2 adults and children 19/16/14 and 12 yr olds)
Every aspect was well thought through and organised by Nancy and went off without any hitches. There was always a guide to meet us on arrival at our different destinations and transport was always in comfortable AC vans.
A highlight of the trip for us was the overnight cruise in Halong bay and snorkelling over the reefs near Nha Trang. Combined with this was an amazing insight into the troubled histories of both countries and just how resilient and friendly the people are.
In Cambodia our guide was flexible when we stated we would like to see the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and arranged us to see this despite something else being on the itinerary.
The amazing sights of Angkor Wat near Siem Reap was a perfect final destination to end on.
The hotels were all well located, food was amazing everywhere we went and the whole family agreed this had been our best holiday!
Don't hesitate to use this travel agency, Nancy even came to meet us in Hanoi and ensured we were happy with everything that had been organised.

I found Nancy of DH Travel while reading reviews of hotels in Vietnam. I thought I'd send an email and see what she has to offer. Let me tell you what she has to offer is amazing! I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Our 19 days in Vietnam and Cambodia were phenomenal. She arranged everything and nothing was overlooked.We could not have planned a better trip by ourselves. We took our adult son and his wife along with us who literally were crying tears of happiness every day! This is the best trip we have ever taken and plan to ask Nancy to book our future Asia travels. Seriously...do not even hesitate!

We were quite impressive since the first email Nancy replied us by all full details which are really useful information and suggestions for our plan trip to Indochina included Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. We can not do anything to have such beautiful trip without her help. Finally, base on some options she sent us, we chose 21 days to cover these three countries. With a very very reasonable and special prices of a long trip until 21 days, we are started and ended our trip with the most perfect services by Nancy. As soon as we arrive to Vietnam, Nancy also met us in Hanoi to give some Vietnamese traditional gifts as well as in order for us know that she is real in the fact, not only is perfect as our dream through her professional emails which we contacted together to end we had a such wonderful trip: ) : )....(beside that, she can write and speak English very well). All highlights Nancy arranged for us to visit in these three countries is the best and it is also the best highlights of each city and place where we arrive, each of our hotel where she booked is the central hotels with very good service quality and perfect locations, the experience tour guide.....if you plan to visit Indochina, then may I highly recommend Nancy of DH Travel, I trust that you will never feel to regret with your decision when chose Nancy who make sure will give you a really memorial time in your life by your trips.

Excellent Trip Cover Thailand – Laos – Cambodia - Myanmar – Vietnam through Nancy of DH Travel

We are a group of 08 persons, we could not say enough thanks to her Nancy who organized the most perfect trip which we have ever had in our life so far. Everything from the smallest things to the most great things she did really wonderful: the best tour guides, the luxury hotels, the safe and comfortable transfers, the best airlines for some the long distances from this city to that city, the nice restaurant with the special and local food, meeting the special locals, take part in the traditional habits and customs of each place we visited.....we really did not want our trip end. Finally, I really and honest advice you that you should book any your trip to Southeast Asia the most is travel to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam through Nancy of DH Travel, SHE IS THE BEST. Again, thank you very very much, Nancy. We will miss you very much.....

Nancy was the perfect coordinator for a month-long trip to Southeast Asia. From our Grand Pearl cruise in Bangkok to the Asia Scenic Thai Cooking School in Chiang Mai to the White Temple in Chiang Rai, we immediately knew we were on a great tour. Everything ran like clockwork as 3 scheduled internal flights and other pickups were always on time with informational guides provided that were very attentive to any questions and needs that we had. From there, the trip just kept getting better and better with visits to several hill tribe villages near Luang Prabang, (where you can also see monks receiving alms in the early morning), a wonderful relaxing ride down the Mekong River and a stay at the awesome setting at the Sanctuary Pakbeng Lodge. We were pleased that Nancy had chosen centrally located comfortable hotels and the best activities for our group such as riding on top of an elephant in the Mekong, visiting beautiful gardens at Mae Fah Luang and hiking to a Buddha cave, to name just a few. One of my highlights was meeting Nancy in Hanoi after communicating with her many times on FB Messenger throughout the year prior. Another WOW moment was kayaking at Halong Bay where we were pleasantly surprised to get an upgraded boat cabin. From there we experienced Hue where we met some students wanting to practice their English and I am still communicating with them from home in Ohio now. Hoi An was a magical treat where I had a tailor-made dress created to attend a wedding this fall. The experiences in Saigon were eye-opening and I realized how much I loved the people there and how much I will miss this trip. After traveling to Europe over 20 times, I appreciated this private tour that Nancy arranged so much more and am so glad that I ventured out a little farther. I can't thank Nancy Hoa at DH Travel in Hanoi enough for this exceptional experience. I am proud to call her my friend and would recommend her travel expertise to anyone!

Nancy worked tirelessly with us to create a custom tour for our group of six. Everything went without a single moment of concern, which is remarkable, especially given the month long itinerary which included three countries and nine different cities. The tours were interesting and fun and the guides were helpful and considerate. Highlights included a boat trip down the Mekong River, the elephant sanctuary, the cooking classes, the White Temple, Halong Bay, walking streets, street food, bicycling around Hoi An...and I could go on and on. Everything was well organized and Nancy even met us for coffee when we were in Hanoi. Bottom line - it was all fantastic. Don’t hesitate to book with Nancy!
