This is a gate that differentiate the boundary of old district and other districts. Somewhat far away from hoan kiem lake. It is really tiny gate.

If you're travelling close to this attraction, stop and enjoy for a minute or two, but don't make any special trip. If you want a photo of it, you could stand there for some time before you would get a clear photo due to the...More

A pretty piece of history set in the increasingly modern, bustling Hà Nội. Rather underwhelming compared to other sites, however.

The old city gate of Hanoi is rather underwhelming, as it is now part of a big chaotic area with constant scooters' honking. It's almost impossible to appreciate the gate for more than a minute, as the place is usually packed.

It's small gate on one of narrow streets. It's not so impressive. You can just walk around to see normal life in Hanoi. Around is many cheap shops with souvenirs.
