While you are in Hanoi, you can not miss this place. The lake, the tower and all the old quarter surroundings all express culture of Hanoi. We often stroll here for about 1-2 hours, walking around the lake to enjoy the scenery and the Tower...More

Disappointing, expecting a big Tower. Actual tower is small, in the center of the lake. Must use Zoom lense to take close up photos of the tower. Looks like the tower is sinking in the lake. Tower is in dis-repair.

We visit in day time. Very busy over the old bridge into the small temple, not much to see. At night the bridge in red light and the temple in light great sight.

This is just a old tower in the middle of the lake if you walk round the lake you can miss it. I would not be making a special trip to see it.

Nice Lake to walk around , I believe now that a lot of work has been been down to clean up the Lake and I have been told that there are Swans on the Lake now too.

It is a small tower in the middle of Sword Lake. The tower was erected on Turtle Islet, the former fishing site under the king Le Thanh Tong.

The lake is in the middle of cleaning up and dredging in the evening. The tower is in need of restoring or clean up to make it look better!

A beautiful buidling in the middle of the lake, but you cannot access it. Was also surrounded by horrible orange plstic, so we couldn't get any nice photos.

The tower is in the middle of a large lake and not that easy to see. I didn't see any turtles when I was in Hanoi.
