Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting little temple squashed between shops down an alleyway.
Interesting to see bottles of scotch left as an offering

Beautiful and spiritual temple in the centre of Hanoi old town. All are welcome to respectfully observe attendees and their worship.

Very nice temple, calming atmosphere and spots to sit and watch the lake! Decorations inside were beautiful and another room housed an enclosure of preserved turtles along with a story explaining the heritage which was an unexpected surprise

Within the crowded scooter lined streets of Old Quarter Hanoi is a beautiful small temple! Hang Bac is an oasis of calm amongst backpacker shops, cheap street eats and French style colonial cafes... decked out for TET in January its beautiful grass beds depicted scenes from the rice fields including monks, oxen ploughing and musicians. Incense was burning and a few locals popped in to bless the buddhas good luck for the new lunar year! Be sure to find it if you can.

This is an old temple on Hang Bac Street in the Old Quarter. The modest exterior did not prepare us for the colourful and elaborate altar and interior. Worth a visit if in the area.

A quiet, beautiful temple in the middle of a busy street. The interior is very ornate after a very unassuming exterior. It's free to enter.

A great surprise finding this hidden treasure at 102 Hang Bac Street in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The temple is an attack on the visual senses, so much colour and so much "bling". The decorations and the displays in this temple are so elaborate and it is a treat to look at. It is not hard to find if you look for number 102 Hang Buc, but we walked past this temple dozens of times before realising it was there. It is amazing, don't miss it.

A solid place to spend a while admiring the temple, did it one afternoon when we had some spare time. Was worth it!
