My friend and I visited the water puppet theatre spontaneously (it lasted 50 minutes) and we found the puppet theatre and especially the music and the singing very enjoyable.

The water puppet show was wonderful to enjoy for both adults and children. It was accompanied with live traditional Vietnamese music...quite colourful and fun to watch. While we did not have children with us, we could see that young children watching were fascinated with what...More

The show was cute and entertaining, and the live orchestra was quite enjoyable to listen to and watch. The performance tells stories and mythologies that surround the creation and identity of Vietnam. Note that the dialogues (which are minimal) are in Vietnamese, but most foreigners...More

It was nice. The only thing what was annoying was that they let people in even 20min after the show started.

The water puppet is a real cultural experience! The action is in Vietnamese. We would have enjoyed it more if we had an English synopsis of the skit, but it was great. Very talented people. The musicians were superb. The show is about an hour...More

It is definitely a tourist thing but I did feel there was still something authentic about the show. The stories and music were really well done. A real charm to it all. Our kids loved it.

Visited this today and took the first Performance at 15.00. A very entertaining piece of traditional Asian culture. It's that kind of puppetry where you can't help but wonder how do they do that. Our 4 y/o son was also captivated

I wouldn't go out of my way to visit but since we were bored and didn't know what to do between meals we went. The singing and the music are good. I recommend googling the story beforehand or at least afterwards. The seats can be...More

Loved this charming performance; a must see. Enchanting music and singing. Puppets are just phenomenal. We tried to book via email and failed so got tickets in advance (an hour) from the box office. I just wish people would have more respect in the theatre...More

No idea. But you can ask. Tickets were 100, 150 or 200k dong...the closer to the stage the more expensive . 200k is£7 so knock yourself out for the best seats in the house.
