Get away from the craziness of the scooters and masses of tourists and pop down to Hoan Kiem Lake. Worth a visit to enjoy the serenity and the scenery is wonderful. The Temple on the Lake is also worth a visit.

A great place to escape the busy old quarter, especially at weekends where they close traffic off so you can stroll around. Very relaxing.
