This is a small park next to the lake. The park features a monument to Ly Thai To, the emperor of 1000 years ago or so.

Central located and you will pass by for sure during your stay in Hanoi. Best experience can come in the early morning when you can drop by and join the local group practising Laughing Yoga. During the day it's quite quiet, until late afternoon when it filled up with local families, school kids, young artist group rehearsal, tourist... Nice to... More

This palce is near the lake in the old quarter of Hanoi. It is a nice place where walkimg around with the family. All the area is worth of being visited and walking around the lake.

In the evening there are many dancers of rap. They chain the complex figures and it is great! The children play with bright electric scooters. Rollers are in on this!

This park is home to Ly Thai To's statue, which is a recent addition to Hanoi's historical culture. The park is small and is close to Hoan Kiem Lake. It is worth a visit and is popular with local families. Thanks for your vote if you found this review helpful.

Small park close in Hoan Kiem district close to the lake with a statue/monument to Ly Thai To. I went past a few evenings and families with young kids skating, playing and enjoying/relaxing there. It is nicely lit up at night. Good place to see what the locals do outside of work and school.

This is certainly a place to go if you are interested in seeing how the Vietnamese live in their private time. Many Vietnamese go to parks as the space in their homes do not usually include a garden - this is the place for kids to run around, dance or play while the parents sip tea with friends on the... A medium-sized park. Best seen at night due to the lighting. Lots of locals with families and kids on weekends. Lots of old bonsai trees.

Stumbled upon this place when chasing pikachu there. Happened upon an open air photo exhibition which was a nice surprise. Gets quite crowded at night when the Ly Thai To statue is lit up and there are people blasting music from speakers, street performers entertaining the crowd, live bands rocking out, vendors along the sidewalk hawking their wares, kids playing...
