This cruise was awesome and a good combination of fun and relax. Make sure to take the 2-night option. With the 1-night option you spend on the boat less than 24h and you miss most of the fun. The boat was great, with everything one needs. Large rooms well equipped and with AC. The food was very good, specially the... More

Myself, my twin-sister and our mum spent 3 days & 2 nights on board the Valentine Junk with Indochina Sails. This stunning junk has 5 cabins. We were greeted by the lovely Hugh and his staff. From the moment we stepped onto The Valentine we immediately knew we made the right decision to be on a smaller junk. The food... More

We did the 2n3d trip May 18-20 on the Valentine Premiere boat. Our trip was to begin on the 17th but due to bad weather was postponed till the 18th. We were offered several options including changing to a 1N cruise or total refund. We opted to continue with the 2N3D cruise. Although there was initially some confusion and miscommunication... It is no wonder Halong Bay is one of the natural wonders of the World. Seeing this beautiful place aboard a luxuriously appointed vessel with superb rooms (we were fortunate to be given a suite), an excellent dining room serving excellent food by a friendly and courteous staff made this one of the highlights of our visit to Vietnam. Extra... More

what a great way to spend a few days. The long drive from Hanoi is a bit tiring but well worth the trip. We spent 3 days , 2 nights onboard - scenery in the brochures does not do this place justice. What a wonderful time we had, meet some lovely people from all over the world. Tai Chi is... More

The boat was beautifully decorated, loved all the details! The room we selected (with balcony) was almost the size of a studio apartment in NYC, even had a bathtub! Food was excellent the first day, but quality tapered off the 2nd/3rd day. We selected the three day/2 night option based on reviews, but I'd say if you're short on time,... More

Our boat, the Valentine Premium, had only two cabins, but we were the only guests during our overnight, private cruise. So we had the attention of our luxury boat's entire staff, and there is no better way to see Halong Bay. For our meals we had choices of Vietnamese or more international food, and the chef also gave us a... More

I traveled to Vietnam with my dad mostly to visit war sites, but we also spent one night cruising Halong Bay and it ended up being my favorite part of the trip. The boat was extremely clean and tidy. The rooms were nice and modern, with air conditioning, which was a must. There was an English speaking guide with us... More

Spent one night on boat, our room had a balcony and modern ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and walk in shower. Old fashioned feel to boat which we loved, top floor deck with sun loungers. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great and we did experience a thunder storm on our second day which was an amazing experience out in the... More
