We had a wonderful street food tour in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. There were only 3 of us on the tour and our tour guide, Jocelyn, was informative, fun, and lively. The 4 small restaurants we visited provided us with diverse foods and styles,...More

It was my second trip to Halong Bay. When I visit here 3-4 years ago, I used a common trip which costs around 25-30 dollars. I took a big bus full of people. At this time, I was with my family, so I choose more...More

Excellent company. We did a walking Food Tour around the old town. Our tour guide, "Trang" was excellent. She added so much to the tour by teaching about the culture, history and customs of the local people in Hanoi. We learned so much. All of...More

It was a group of 5 we were in and we went to about 4 or 5 eateries, trying about 9 dishes. All the food we tried were SO GOOD. Lilly, our guide, was quick and flexible to accommodate to our dietary preferences. She was...More

We were greeted at our hotel by Nathan to start our tour, there was only 1 other person on the tour who also happened to be at the same hotel, which was great, no need to walk to pick them up. Nathan was very friendly...More

If you are looking for an experience that feels more like a night-out with new friends than a well-rehearsed scripted tour, then I highly recommend you sign-up for Food on Foot. We had a great evening out with Chung (our guide) and another family. The...More

Hello. My teenage son and I will arrive at Hanoi airport at 4.30am as part of our transit flight to Sydney. Our next flight will leave at 4pm the same day. Taking off 2hours for inbound immigration and 2hours to check back in, we will have approx 7 hours to take a tour of Hanoi. Is this something you would recommend....is it safe?? And what trip would you recommend? Thanks Rachel.

Yeah it's very safe. I would get a cab to downtown and walk around. I would head to the French quarter and the old town, look around the lake and the temple, take some time for lunch.
I have a family of 5 adults and would like to book a Private Halong Bay Sailing Cruise from Hanoi on 22nd Dec. We will be staying near West Lake and do not wish to have any shopping stops during our trip . My wife has bad knees and we would prefer a sailboat to a Chinese Junk for the cruise . Please let us have your proposed activities and tentative timing for the day trip . Many thanks and best regards , Wilkin Tang ( Singapore )
