Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Couldn't find much options available at low cost from Noi Bai to Sapa thus we decided to book Andy. Email replies were prompt and had a choice to pay at the airport.
We arrived early and decided to change pick up point from domestic to international airport. Andy was accommodating and told us to wait at a specific time and place. Van was more than 30 minute late but trip was pleasant.
Driver was confused on our hotel location. Best to remind driver of your hotel prior to boarding as there seems to be a lack of communication between Andy and the driver.
Pretty value for money comparing it to train services.

This transfer service was good and reliable. I chose the service because of previous reviews. The pick-up at Hanoi Airport was OK, though there appeared to be confusion as to where we were exiting from. This required a call on my mobile to get sorted. However, the transfer was good and we booked the service for the return from our hotel to the airport. We were led to believe that the driver would have English language skills. This was not the case; unimportant in our case as I had been to Hanoi on a number of other occasions. However, those wanting an driver with some English language should probably mention this.

We booked a Noibaiservices Limousine 9 seater bus from airport to SapaCost is $28 per person each way. The van is comfortable but it was about 2 hours late when the driver came to pick us up at the airport. I was told because the driver was stuck in traffic. On the return trip, I was texted by Andy the day before that the time slot I booked has been cancelled and therefor I was put to the next available slot. when I asked why it was cancelled last minute, Andy told me he had no control and it is up to change any minute since I didn't book a private transportation. Overall, the shuttle service got us from A to B but wish it had been more punctual. When I reached Sapa, all restaurants were closed so we go to bed hungry. may not a bad thing for grownups but be on time is important to run the service

Despite confirming my pick-up location outside the domestic terminal, the driver was nowhere to be seen and when I called Andy Le, he didn't answer his phone or return his text for nearly 20 or 30 min. I was thinking the whole thing was a scam. Turns out the bus driver just left without us and didn't bother contacting Andy or myself (this is a small bus by the way).
Then, returning from SaPa to Hanoi, the morons at the station couldn't locate my name and the same thing — I call Andy and no answer. The unprofessionalism of this company is amazing.
On the plus side, the sleeper bus was comfortable and got me from Noi Bai to SaPa. But the pick up both times was awful. I would not use this companty again.

Couldn't find any record of Anbasco here. So I decided to give my feedback through this thread.
1. We booked our transport with Anbasco through Andy Le. The bus was supposed to depart at 4pm from Noi Bai Airport to Sapa. We were told to wait at the seating area 30mins before the scheduled pick up time. The bus driver did not show up 30mins before the pick up as informed by Andy Le. I emailed Andy 3x and he didn't reply. So at 4pm, I got the Tourist Information counter officer to help call Andy. He said bus was delayed because of jam. (A lot of drivers were already waiting for their guests. It seemed that the jam only affected Anbasco.) We waited for another 30mins and there was still no sign of the driver. So we called again and waited further. We only left the airport at 4.40pm instead of 4pm as indicated on their website.
2. We were picked up by a Toyota Fortuner instead of the 8 seater limo bus. We were pleasantly surprised and thought this was their way of service recovery. Much to our disappointment, the car stopped by the road side in the middle of nowhere (at least to a tourist, it seemed like middle of nowhere) and we were informed that we had to wait for another 10min for the limo bus. In the end, we waited for another 20min. We only finally set off for Sapa at 5pm. It was 1 hour in delay from the promised time. Btw, there was no jam at all when we drove out to the middle of nowhere.
3. The bus was different from what was on website. When we boarded, there were already 5 people on board. The seats in front were spacious, but we had to cramp up at the last row. We were 2 small built females so we could still live with it. I couldn't imagine how any man can fit into the space. There was Wi-Fi but the speed was so slow, I resort to using my data plan instead. The only plus point was the voltage of the mobile charging point was quite fast. The aircon was malfunctioning. It was a stuffy journey.
4. The road was bumpy. That was due to the infrastructure, so I can't blame it on the driver. Do standby some plastic bags if you are prone to motion sickness. It was very bad especially when you are sitting at the back seat.
5. We had a 30min toilet break at a patrol station cum eatery place along the way. As we were setting off after the break, the driver went to pump petrol instead. It was puzzling why he chose to do that when we were on board and ready to go. Couldn't that be done when we alighted for the break? The bus was just next to the station. Perhaps the 1h delay was a cummulation of such inefficient work habits along the way.
6. The driver is experienced on the road. He drove carefully through the dark windy road.
6. Btw we signed up with Anbasco but the bus was EcoSapa. If you can find another service provider to bring you to Sapa, I would highly recommend for you find other alternatives.

The drivers are very punctual and the response rate is very high. It is always easy to contact them and arrange transport whenever required. Very reasonable pricing. The service is more than worth for the money you pay for. I have used their service a couple of times and would be using always in the future when I'm visiting Hanoi. I always recommend this to my friends as well. Excellent job done Noi Bai Transfer!!! Keep up the good work !!!

Arranged two separate transfers from Nobai Airport to city through WhatsApp. Everything went smoothly for the first transfer. Driver was waiting for us at the arrival area. However the second transfer had to be changed to a later time as the passenger missed the flight. Again rearranged through WhatsApp and everything went well. Subsequently booked transfer to airport and driver picked us up at the hotel punctually. Overall a very good experience.

We booked this service to get from Hanoi Airport to Sapa and found them unreliable and the drivers took too many risks on the road for our liking. The van had mechanical problems and jammed 9 passengers into a vehicle that was designed for 7 at best. Luggage was packed into the main cabin between seats meaning getting in and out was difficult and in the event of an accident, down right dangerous. The company uses contractors who don't really care about customer service with drivers who are rude and unprofessional. Andy wasn't the least bit helpful when we complained and as such, I wouldn't recommend Anbasco to anyone.

We booked this service to travel from Hanoi to Sapa and return. On the way to Sapa the car was late in picking us up, had 7 passengers with suit cases which couldn’t fit in the luggage compartment and were stowed between seats meaning no way in or out for passengers in an emergency. I was seated next to the main sliding door which opened for no reason on the highway doing 100kms an hour and struggled to close it until the driver realised what was going on and eventually stopped. For the rest of the trip I had to hold it closed. I tried to do up my seat belt but the clip was missing so had to hold the door closed manually whilst doing 100kms an hour with no seat belt. We relayed these problems to Andy and received assurances it would be better on the return trip but instead, the vehicle had 9 passengers with 2 of our friends required to squeeze in up front with the driver for 5 hours. This is not a “luxury” service even though they charge “luxury” prices. Anbasco contracts out to service providers who don’t care about the standard of customer care and are just out to make as much money as they possibly can. Both are cowboys who border on the down right dangerous. I’m sure there are good quality transport providers out there in Vietnam but Anbasco and their contractors aren’t one of them in my opinion.

I was very much counting on booking the night limousine service from Hanoi to Sapa. However, after reading such mixed reviews, I am so confused. Is there anyone who has taken the night limousine service recently?
Written 28 November 2018
Don’t book with them. The service provider they use is dangerous and unreliable. If you want a night service, take the train.
