Lovely walk (steep) to the top with stunning views. There is a small cold drinks / coffee stands and a compact souvenir stand on the island, which you would not want any bigger. Ti Top Island is about a 15min hike up to the lookout point. It has steps the full way up. it is a very steep hike but worth it. There is also a beach to enjoy if you have time. The water was very cold when we were there in December.

We woke up and were given to choices. Go to the beach, avoiding mosquito, and swim in the bay, and try not to get stung by jelly fish. Or, clime up the Island up to the top for a view. We chose the latter. It is a lot of steps, and there is only the one set of steps.

Part of any Halong bay tour. Good exercise walking up to the lookout for great views. Small beach amongst a lot of people, Shelly bottom in the water

Wow what a view from the top of the hill on this island. Beware it has many steps I lost count half way up and they only get steeper so not for the faint hearted or those with difficulties unfortunatly there is only one staircase up and down. The island has a man made beach of those not wanting to brave the hill and a small kiosk for ice cream and drinks to refuel after the hike up. The best way to see the bay and this island is through an organised trip as there is over 1900 islands in the bay..... …
