I have already discussed much of my visit to Halong Bay in a separate review for Bien Ngoc Cruises, but will write this in addition, in order to capture the attention of anyone thinking of visiting Halong Bay without spending the night afloat on one of the many boats/junks that offer such trips. The views from the land, though attractive, do not compare with the views available from a junk boat. However, even the short trips, out and back on the same day, lose out on so much of the experience gained from an overnight cruise. The cruises include meals and several excursions/activities, such as kayaking, cave visits, and the opportunity to climb to the peak of Titop Island for breathtaking views and photo opportunities. I have visited many places around the world, but few compare with Halong Bay. The halong bay basically comes along with a stay at small sized cruises which are luxurious and keeps you engage for whole 2-3 days of your stay. The bay is beautiful and silent to have a peaceful relaxing time. The water is clean and fun to do water activities.

As a Unesco 1994 appointed "World Heritage Site", "Halong Bay" is absolutely unmissable by all those travelling in Northeast Vietnam and Hanoi area. Its magic mists will definitely bewitch you! Emerald waters and infinite towering limestone isles, islets and caves topped by lush rainforests. All aging 20 million years! Board a boat (and there are very many different options from simple junks to luxury cruises) and discover the secrets of "Halong Bay". In Vietnamese, "Halong" means "Descending Dragon" - just like a mythological dragon descending from heaven and breaking through the limestones rocks and deep waters of the bay! A miracle of endless beauty! Enjoy!…

Review of: Halong Bay
I always wanted to go to Ha Long bay that I am so happy that I got a chance to put it on my "Been there, done that" list. The scenery is breathtaking. The water is clean and clear. There are many activities to do as well, particularly kayaking. I think the 1 day tour is a good option if you don't have time. However, time to visit each spot would be limited for only about 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Next time, when I have more time and budget, I'd love to try the 2 days 1 night tour. I really enjoyed the day and hope to come back soon! Highly recommend!!!!…
