The cable ride appears well maintained and run. Views not spectacular, but very pleasant and worthwhile. Dress appropriately for entering the monastery at the top of the ride i.e. Respectfully - no see through or off shoulder tops, short shorts etc. Allow an hour in this beautiful and tranquil place.

The view itself was nice, trip takes around 15 min. one way. You can buy return ticket use it one way take a walk on second station and came back later same day. Watch out on parking, ALWAYS ask for a ticket before you will pay. Like everywhere in Vietnam locals try to add a "tourist tax" everywhere they can.... More

This is a very good attraction to visit in Dalat. The round trip cable car as great scenic views. Once you disembark before you return there is a nice monastery and park to stroll

Reading the reviews,we timed it for 1.30 after lunch & a 80,000 return trip. Beautiful monastery & surrounding gardens in this peaceful area. Walked down around to the fishing pond & down to the lake for a cuppa along at the cafe before returning back to Dalat. Superb views over the distant mountains from the cable car.

Truc Lam Temple and Pagoda enjoys a pretty setting. Very touristy despite being an active temple. Most impressive were the golden orb spiders everywhere! We didn't take the cable car which looked interesting.

A must do in De Lat but make sure you are aware of the running times as they close down for lunch 11.30-1pm when we were there. There is a very reasonably priced steamboat restaurant at the terminal. The ride was smooth with great views over De Lat only about 10 mins or so each way. Once at the top... More

How can you beat an aerial view of a beautiful city? As the title of my recommendation suggests the tram does close mid day but with that in mind go and have a great day!

You take the cable car to the monastery and this gives you fabulous views of the countryside around Dalat. The monastery despite all its visitors was a haven of peace with beautiful buildings and gardens. The continual tinkering of wind chimes and the smell of josh sticks all add to the peaceful atmosphere. It is an active monastery so its... More

Because this place's location is on the hill, you have to walk a bit to reach the place. So you should wear comfortable shoes. From the top, you can see the view of Tuyen Lam lake, and the forest. If you are nature-lover, this place is just for you.

Had the cablecar trip included in our package of things to see in our Indochina Odyssey package. The cablecar gives great views over the surrounding hills covered in the ubiquitous feral pine trees the French brought with them. They are such an integral part of the landscape around Dalat now. The cablecar trip does take quite a while so sit... More
