I found this pagoda very interesting & reccomend that you go to the ones in Dalat. I arrived in dalat with my Easy Rider driver Lee, who i was lucky enough that he was free to take me around Dalat & see. Defienetly worth a visit , very clean with lots to see. Plus many western restaurants if you are missing anything. I didnt & loved the food. Internet is avaiable everywhere you go, which I found interesting between Cambodia & Vietnam plus you dont pay, as you do everywhere in UK

Walk down a sloping pathway to a gate/doorway and ring the doorbell. The door opened and we were encouraged in, we viewed the ancient little temple and then met Thay Vien Thuc in his studio/showroom, he showed us his work and explained what he does and also played some music for us. I purchased copies of his book which he personally signed and some CD's of his music,He collects your address, if willing as he may visit one day.He was so charming and fun it was a truly memorable experience.

read lonely planet about this pagoda and Vien Thuc monk but all was disappointed. nothing special about this pagoda. the monk was not welcoming and friendly as they described .. sorry, NOT worth

It's well known as crazy monk who is the only one live there and draw thousand pictures to sell to tourist.

a great place to visit if you want to see how a meditation center works. Great view and great lessons, a nice place to improve your knowledge about Buddhism

walking up to the top with 20 min, just for the buddha on the top.... nice and great view up there....in the middle of the hell, when you going up to the top... there is another sleeping buddha on your right... is a big sleeping buddha... keep going after prayer..... try to get in there after the 1st buddha... and try it....you will experience something special....unfortunate, i missed it....

We visited this Pagoda as it was close to our Hotel but didn't spend more than 10mins there. There wasn't a great deal to see so I wouldn't recommend making the effort to visit if you are not in the area.

The main monk wasn't at the pagoda when we went. It is free to go in. Not a whole lot to see but we waited for a few minutes and rested before heading to the crazy house. The views are pretty and it's a good spot to feel the breeze although there really isn't anything special here.

Unlike the description, this is not a pagoda but just a small temple building. It's about 10-15 minutes walk from the "Crazy House" and is off the main road down a slope where the roundabout is. To our disappointment, the main attraction himself was not present. The brighter, newer coloured building to the left looked like living quarters. We were off in just 10 minutes.
