My mother had initially opted to stay up top, but we convinced her to come down to see the waterfall and the sites at the bottom. - Jason DangNha Trang, Vietnam10 contributionsThing to do in Da LatNice experience. There is the roller coaster ride down to the waterfall which was very interesting. The waterfall small but quite nice, by the time i was there the water turned red due to the heavy rain the day before. Enjoyed it.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 May 2024
- SageSault Ste. Marie, Canada2 contributionsActive fun for tweens and moms!My 10yo daughter and I had a fabulous day at the falls. We bought the combo ropes and alpine course. The ropes course was the perfect blend of fun and challenging. It took us 2 hours and we were exhausted but also proud of our achievement. There is a mix of ziplinning and increasingly challenging rope obstacles culminating in jump platform where you launch yourself into the air! (Very safe - European standards). The alpine coaster was a hoot and the falls are gorgeous. A wonderful day out! RecommendVisited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 15 July 2024

The only way to get down to Datanla Falls is by way of the roller coaster - and that’s just fine with me. I’ve visited this place four times in July and August and there was never once a line there. The security guard at the falls is very efficient and concerned about your safety but he is also friendly and will help you with photos. He speaks English. Datanla Falls is a thrill, even for people who get freaked out by roller coasters. It is quality made by Austrian and German engineers

Enjoyed the roller coaster. You can ride as a couple or individually and control your own speed with a hand break. The falls make for a good photo up. No swimming. Two photos are taken automatically on the trip down and made available for purchase at the falls where there are refreshments and restrooms. You get back on the coaster to finish the trip where you began. Some signs have English, others are in Vietnamese only. Some construction material is still lying around from recent renovation work (July 1, 2020.)

On the waterfalls, we were hiking 🥾 on busy roads. One hour good pace, first stop was Tuyen Lam lake and then Datanla waterfalls. Place is well organised for people living zip line, rope riding, alpine coaster and mainly for great view of nature. Going up and down is exercise, kids love alpine coaster or other attraction. Pls count on whole day there, options for dining and snack available, recommend, just open wallet 🪪 and it could be busy place

Worth a look for a morning trip. It’s conveniently located only 5km outside da lat centre, and easily accessible by taxi. The waterfalls are pretty and the short hiking trails around them quite challenging. Worth upgrading the price of entry for the coasters, which are good fun. If you want to make the most out of it though go early or late in the day, as when it’s busy you get stuck behind a queue of slow moving coaster traffic, which takes away from the thrill.

This place is so good, highly recommend. I visited on Vietnamese holiday period and it was packed, big queues, but it flowed well. The luge is like a mini roller coaster that you control. It sits on rails and is very safe and very fast if you choose not to brake, otherwise it can be as slow as you like. It also brakes automatically if you are too close to another cart so my advice is if there is a cart in front wait for a while until they are gone and fly. I also lost my hat, so make sure you hold onto it. At the bottom is an epic waterfall, it had alot of water and was amazing to see. So many photo opportunities. Alot of drinks and food at the bottom and the top. I missed the rope course zip line, that is a separate area and cost.

This waterfall is a bit below the surface so one can either climb down or take the coaster to reach the location. The Coaster experience is very nice. The entry fees and Coaster fees are required to be paid separate.

I went there as part of a tour of the three falls, and I wished I had more time. Although the tour was not rushed and was well organised, one can easily spend a couple of hours in Datanla falls. Great vibes, clean and enjoyable. It is perhaps the best place to visit while at Dalat. They dont allow swimming or even stepping into the water, hence no need to pack swimming clothes. Can be a bit crowded but not too bothersome.

Love this itinerary.
Take a one way Cable Car ride to enjoy the alpine like scenery of pine forest and farms.
At the end of the cable car station instead of taking the return cable car back up, do enjoy the Walkaround the little peaceful monastery.
After which, take a morning exercise to walk downwards a trail w steps to the Paradise Lake.
Enjoy the lovely dam activities, cool air and views.
Then take a really short car ride to Datanla Waterfall...
Have an exhilarating roller coaster ride and at the base spend some lovely time at the waterfall.
Return via Roller Coaster up to end the morning.
Would recommend this as a must do on the Dalat list.

The falls are pretty and powerful, but, it’s all about the Exciting Luge ride!
You’ll wanna ride the fast and long luge at Dalanta Falls in Dalat, too? We were caught on their automatic cameras twice. We bought only 2 because on the other ones we were looking too scared. I was grimacing, My wife had her eyes closed! anyway it was a very long fast ride! Adrenaline! I feel the need for speed! Yeah! And then to top it off you can ride the Luge back up, of course a lot slower, but, hey! It’s better then walking!

The Alpine Rollercoaster ride was fun. My husband and I decided to ride in the same car. It would have been more enjoyable had we each taken our own car. People made sure our seatbelts were fastened. The grounds are beautiful and mostly well kept.

Can a 3 yr old & 5 yr old child ride the toboggans with their parents?
Written 28 December 2018
Hi,
When I was riding on the taboggan, yes I saw parents with their kiddos. Just be very careful at the bends and control the speed. If possible have your child in front and you are kind of enveloping your child for safety. All the best and enjoy!
