Walk over the bridge to the monument on the other side. Visit the small museum. Take a look at the speakers along the river.

The DMZ is an interesting place to visit for people who enjoy history. Otherwise, it will probably be a boring experience. There is really not much to see or do there. 20 minutes should be sufficient for visiting this site.

The old demilitarised zone in Vietnam is basically a must-see for history lovers. We joined a local tour costing 23 USD a person. Luckily our tour guide was one who was able to speak fluent English, but I am sure not everyone is so fortunate....More

Once the most heavily bombed strip of land in the world, a bridge connects the areas formerly designated as North and South Vietnam. If you're in the area it is more than worth a visit.
