Take a tour along the river so you can see how the river people live, work and play. The commerce is still almost all manual - making bricks for construction, coconut harvesting, weaving. Businesses are all family owned and run. Along the river you'll see fish traps, water palm trees, fruit trees. Almost all the small boats have eyes painted... More

As some one who values independence and privacy I was wary of spending four days cruising on the Mekong. I should not have been !! From the exchanges with Gwen Lim on the pre planning questions to the moment we were taken ashore to meet our transfer to Raffles the entire experience was a delight. The staff, Cambodian, are wonderful... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our eight-day Mekong River cruise from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Saigon, Vietnam aboard the Toum Tiou 1. There was ample time to relax and enjoy the passing scenery, the meals were delicious, the room very comfortable, the onshore activities were well organized and interesting and the crew were superb in every regard (thanks Walla!).... We're not used to organized trips (preferring our independence) so were apprehensive about joining a cruise. But it made sense to do so in a really foreign country where we didn't feel able to make all our own arrangements. Croisi Europe had been recommended to us and it proved very satisfactory and an easy way of getting an interesting, if... More

Travelling on a boat gives you a relax feeling on the Mekong River while enjoying a freshly cut coconut and cut fruits.

My wife and I spent a week on the Mekong with CruiseCo Adventurer. Wow!!! We were lucky. I will admit, to have the whole boat for just 16 of us. But.... The crew were great. Rosie (Cruise director) was super organised, actively involved from go to whoa, and extremely sensitive to, and responsive to passenger needs. Language was not an... More

We took the Pandaw Cruise China/Laos and were very disappointed. The cruise is offered in the high and low water seasons. We chose the low water season because we prefer traveling during the dry season. In their offering, Pandaw points out that the ship might not be able to reach China if the water level is too low, and that... More

If you have any allergies such as gluten or lactose intolerance, stay away. We paid over $10,000 per person which included a land portion of the vacation from them. For that much money, we were sure we would have some food as an alternate to the regular menu. This was not the case. We were given a menu before each... More

This was our first of a long haul holiday but if there are all as good as this it will not be our last. We have been on a Viking cruise in Europe so we had a good idea of what to expect in terms of service etc fro the cruise staff. We did spend a few days in Saigon... More
