The junkyard cafe and hotel was small quaint and comfortable. 45.00 American dollars a night included fresh espresso and a big breakfast. Sunsets were stunning.

After visiting many beaches of Phuket I came across this one by accident. The best I visited by far, not overly commercialised, like all the others I'd seen. If you're looking for a relaxing,quiet beach holiday AVOID Phuket like the plague!
The beach is beautiful, roughly 7 km long. The sand is soft and there are no hidden rocks in the water.

quiet w/ a good view, elephant sunctuary is walking distance.downside is food is expensive. not much water activities here compared to other beach. u need to book a taxi before u can go to the spots like buddha and cape.

Do not visit it during the rainy season, if you want to swim. Waves are big, always red flags (dangerous to swim). Prices are more expensive, for example, compare to Karon beach, because there are not a lot of place to eat around, no night...More
Nice beach although there’s quite a bit of rubbish that washes up from the ocean so be careful of glass etc. If you can look beyond that it’s a lovely beach. Maybe the hotels along the beach road could possibly look after a section each...More
