Pat was fantastic! She was a very competent teacher who showed us the food markets first which were very interesting. She then explained and helped us cook and create each of our salads, soups and courses. It was really worth the effort and a great experience!

It is a half day course, you visit a small local market that is not overwhelming and learn lots about the local food. Then you go to pat's home where Jung taught us how to cook a feast. Her two young helpers are a delight, the whole thing had a lovely feel and the food was delicious. I am going... More

I was a little disappointed that making curry paste wasn't included in the school - the advice was it was easier to get at the Market - that is only if you live in countries where you can get it from the Market.

Originally i didn't really want to do a cooking class while on holidays but so glad I did. The tour of the local market was extremely interesting and informative. Yes it stunk but we soon got over that and "Pat" made many a joke about the smell. It was just the two of us which was great. Lots of hands... More

We started by visiting the local markets to see the fresh produce and meat. Gladly Pat explained to us that the meat we would be cooking with would be purchased from the supermarket! From the welcome drink, through to our dining experience in Pat's own home, her hospitality was fantastic. We were able to prepare and cook all five dishes... More

We booked through buffalo Tours, we were picked up from resort and driven to Fiona. A quick tour of a local market(smelt foul, but we survived! Lol) to show us local foods and processes and then onto cooking class. Lemon grass tea on arrival was a nice touch and well presented. Prep work carried out by two assistants to help... More
