Its a nice beach. Secluded and relaxing. Hardly any peddlers. The sand is soft and the waves looked strong. Great place to sit back, relax and have a Gin Tonic. This beach would be frequented by people staying in the Mai Khao vicinity. The Antaras and Marriots and Salas. About 500m from Marriot, there is a row of seafood stalls... More

The ladies were very funny and the massage was very good... Just too much flies around which could be annoying at times. Recommended... More

An absolutely beautiful stretch of beach in the north of Phuket. I was looking for a quiet beach retreat and didn't think that Phuket was the place to find it but wanted to go diving so went anyway. Found the most gorgeous place to stay called Micky Monkey Beach on Mai Khao Beach. The beach is miles and miles of... More

This is a very photogenic location and walking along the secluded sands is romantic. However don't be tempted to swim here in the off season. The sands drop rapidly to the sea and an unwary swimmer could be knocked over easily. There are no life guards in the long section we explored. As a former Life Saving Instructor, the sea... More

Very clean and serene. Quiet with very few people. There are some rustic local stalls next to the Holiday Inn selling F & Bs, beachwear and large coconuts at 40baht only. CHILL worthy place very close to the airport, a heavenly beach is only 10 mins away!

The beach is clean, with very few people and beautiful! The drop into the sea is steep and the current is strong! It carried my tall 9 year old off the beach into the water when she was sitting. She was fine, and throughly enjoyed herself. So be aware of the flags and listen to the warning!

We were staying at the Holiday Inn which is next to a stretch of the beach. Beautiful golden sand and turquoise sea. Lots of small crabs scuttling around but little else for the beachcomber. Quiet and perfect for a long walk.

Vast stretch of extensive long beach. Very secluded and not many people around. Ideal for loving couples. Not suitable for swimming due to steep drop into the sea and sometimes strong current. Good for strolling. Many tall trees around.

A quiet beach, away from the chaos of Patong. Very few waves if that is your thing. A nice place to relax.
