- macedonboyGlasgow, United Kingdom186,190 contributionsEntertaining & Cheap Tourist StallsThis covered market is packed full of mostly clothing stalls selling low quality stuff aimed at tourists. As with many local markets, there's hardly any price tags and prices can be negotiable. I came here trying to buy a pair of traditional Thai style trousers. Paid 250 and I'm pretty sure I should've bargained harder. There's a small food court at the back, but the options are limited if you're vegetarian.Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 27 March 2024
- Cokol02128Meckenheim, Germany767 contributionsBazaar like everywhere where there are tourists.Like every bazaar in the world. Cheap fake clothes and lots of souvenirs. Better to visit in the evening when it's not too hot. Next door is another similar market. Now very much in Indian hands. But clean and tidy. So if you're looking for cheap things, this is the place to be.Visited June 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 6 June 2024
- ZNAdejdaTomsk, Russia679 contributionsPalantine vendors at the entrance can't trade.Every year we visit, buy small things and always talk to sellers about life (where they come from, how they live here, etc.). But this time, they fucked up the palantine seller at the entrance: in her opinion, you cannot remove the paper ring covering half of the goods from the transparent packaging when choosing to consider the color and pattern (because people don't dress them correctly). Are you serious? In my opinion, it is generally the seller's task to open and demonstrate the goods to the buyer! In our decent stores, the sellers on their own initiative completely spread even the bed linen and show what the whole set looks like, so that there are no refunds later because they did not understand the pattern.Visited November 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 23 November 2024
- Roland_ZellerJomtien Beach, Thailand1,596 contributionsGood/very goodHigh-end products can be found here in vain. But there is everything you need here and if I am traveling as a normal tourist, it is enough for me what I find here. It is almost exclusively in Indian hands and as described in other places it is quite clean and not air conditioned. I live here in Pattaya and if I ever need something, whether it's for shaving or anything else, I go here to see what it has and shop here too.Visited December 2024Travelled on businessWritten 4 December 2024

In one place, but you got to haggle ok easy to find on second road. To tell the truth, I get lost in there. But it is good fun.Visited February 2025Travelled soloWritten 6 February 2025

This is a completely touristic place. It is a touristic place where textile products, shoes, cosmetics and all kinds of souvenirs are sold, there are also food and beverage places, but the prices are really ridiculous and then there is an environment where bargaining is possible. It is also open during the day. You won't lose anything if you don't go.

The night bazaar is good for little twinklets and souvenirs but don't count on it to buy anything of quality thinking you're saving a lot. Brought a luggage from there and the next I had to use and the wheels started coming off. Do not buy from the Indian guy ( first shop coming from the mall.)

A lot of noise for nothing! It is a good location for those who want to see a bazaar with various cheap fakes . There is also the area with food where you can find from beetles and fried worms to seafood. It's up to everyone what they want. For those who do not bear the pungent odors, it is not recommended. I gave it 4 stars for the diversity of the people there. Whole families with young children, come to work extra to make a penny for their family. I believe that this spirit of work is found throughout Thailand. Moreover, we even ate well in this night market.

As an Indian, if you want to get insulted, feel free to enjoy this thrift store. People are rude, outright disrespectful and racist towards Indians. A nice luxurious (by any nationality standards) vacation was turned sour because of people’s attitude.

Which is what you must not wear in the Pattaya heat, you just sweat more.
There are few prices on goods in this market - they want to look the foreigner up and down and decide what overprice the mug will pay.
No Thais shop here, a sure sign of bad value in quality and price.

The Pattaya Night Bazaar is an amazing cheap place for shopping in Pattaya and opens until very late. They sell everything you would ever want for a beach holiday area and a country with sunshine most days and rain sometimes but not too often. There is also toilets at the back of this place and food and drink courts where they sell excellent Thai food and even beers along with softer drinks. Always haggle and always start on a ridiculously very low price but walk away if they do not agree on your top end price for your item you want to purchase.

We came off a cruise ship for the day. The market was worth the 40min trip. Good old Thai market with heaps to look at and more than a few of the same stalls so you can compare your bartering price. Heaps of massage locations near by for recovery after walking.

Pattaya was the last pit stop on our trip to Thailand before flying home. We enjoyed the night market (which is open from mid afternoon). It had rows and rows of souvenir stalls for those last minute gifts. Maybe not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Some would negotiate on price, but many wouldn’t, which we found a common theme throughout our trip. I did negotiate on my last experience though. Good fun!

Post-Covid you can only notice the bazaar is suffering. Many stalls closed and rows after rows of empty shops. The ones open were selling clothes, souvenirs and were willing to negotiate prices. I can only imagine how the place was busting with tourists few months ago... We were the only customers on a Friday night. This bazaar need support to keep this business running. I hope the situation improves for the vendors soon.

Though most of the shops sell the similar items, it's one of the places to get everything u need from clothes to souvenirs... Dont forget to bargain as some shops start with extremely high prices... some skip the hassle and give you a low rate. Do take time to survey the prices before purchasing anything.

They sell Phone covers everywhere in Pattaya. You won't have a problem finding one for your Samsung 8.
Not sure if there is a stall in the Night bazzar that has them, but you will find them on every street corner and flea market in town.
Written 17 December 2017
how is different of price between night bazzar and tepprasit?
is it same that?
Written 12 November 2017
tepprasit vs pattaya night market. do not forget to bargain. there is lots of bargaining margin at tepprasit. pattaya nigh market is kind of permanent market, so there is less bargaining and some are fixed price shops.

How far is it from hotel The Seasons and how to reach here from The Season(any public transportation)?
What are the timings of it?
Is there any other Street Markets In Pattaya for local shopping?
Written 28 January 2016
Hi Neha,
Its walking distance from the hotel you mentioned,
Walk towards 2nd road and take left its opposite Central festival mall..
Yes there are many local shopping markets one is on every tuesday that's at Soi Bukhao, and there is one at theparsit road , its on friday Sat and Sunday .. thats called as theparsit or weekend market
However i would recommend shopping at BKK as its much more cheaper than Pattaya if buying in bulk
