It has shooting also

Shooting was expensive but kids loved it. Elephant ride is quite average. Pictures with the lion make you sad because the animals look drugged.

Great experience! Our hotel arranged this excursion (and others), so we were picked up by a minibus and driven to the Elephant Village and then brought back afterwards. I would highly recommend arranging this through your hotel if you can as it is very well organised! When you arrive you have a welcome talk and then are free to look... More

We paid 1,200 baht each for 1 hours elephant "trekking". The term "elephant village" paints a picture of a sanctuary like place for the animals, sadly it's anything but. There are over 20 chained elephants here, we observed 2 that were clearly distressed & were being hit with big sticks to "calm down". I travelled with my teenage son &... More

1200batts for preson, and only 20mins elephant riding, too expensive. The staff took a picture of everyone on their elephants, and you had the option of buying it for 300 baht. The staff also video recorded the experience, and you had the option of buying the DVD for 1000 baht.

The ride on the elephant was as you would expect and lasted for around 40 mimutes. You then went for a 10 minute walk stopping to see silk being woven. Before going for a ten minute ride on a cart pulled by water buffalo. They took you back to the where you started where a huge lunch was waiting for... More

As nice as it seems to go visit these animals they are not treated the way i would expect an Elephant village to take care of them, Animals are forced to stand in the sun the whole day attached to a metal chain with little water, not to mention the brutality! i would not consider this a place to go

Took the full tour with elephant ride, raft and ox cart back to meal. Buy bananas for 100 baht (£2) to start with and get up close to these beautiful animals ( if your a clean freak you might want to watch out for elephant snot, it's quite sticky). The ride shows you how gentle and strong and tall they... More
