Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice to have such a quiet beach in Pattaya area. It is luxury hotels with their private areas. Scenic. The water is not clear like the islands. There isn't much to do on the beach itself. You'll need to eat at one of the seafood restaurants or stay in a resort and they provide cots for you to relax.

Wongamat beach is the best beach of all three beaches around Pattaya. Just go straight down Soi 18 from Nakluar road (about 200 meters from the Dolphin round-about) and you can walk right onto the beach. The beach next to the Centara Grand Mirage Resort is beautiful and there is a little beach club in front of the Rim Talay Seafood Restaurant and they serve also great drinks and food include mg juicy burgers. Sun beds do cost about 100.- like anywhere else in Pattaya. Have a sunny day.

We absolutely loved this beach , It's quiet and you can go for a jog or just walk. This is the safe beach in pattaya at any time , since there are lots of hotels and condominiums here so the security is high.
I have to say that the sea in pattaya is not that clear and if you are picky on this you should perhaps go to Jomtien beach(where the water is more clear) or go to Phuket or Koh Samui.

If you break Pattaya into three zones, Wong Amat would be to the North, then Pattaya Central, and Jomtien to the south.

Pattaya is more of the party place where there's lots happening and many things to do. In Wong Amat and Jomtien, generally speaking, you'll find older adults. Wong Amat is still growing so it's newer and still defining its vibe. It also seems to be a little more affluent.

Jomtien has more mature adults as Pattaya central as well, but has been established for quite some time. With my last trips I noticed more development since the main highway opened up.

If you're looking for quiet and a nice tranquil beach, Wong Amat probably is your place. It's close enough to Pattaya if you want more excitement.

If you're looking for quiet with a little more nightlife, Jomtien might do the trick.

If you are looking for a better quality location to relax then this is a good choice.
The beach is clean, water is good quality and it is not too crowded.
The beach is slightly off the beaten track but it is within walking distance of terminal 21 or the dolphin roundabout, the access is slightly easier if you head up towards Nuklua and take any of the roads to the left.
There are plenty of facilities down by the beach.

The photoshoped picture on the web are far from reality. This place is horribly dirty, the water is brown and smells, there are dog s*it everywhere, and where is the sand? Very very low quality.

Wong Amat Beach in Naklua is not the best beach, but considering average pollution in Pattaya, this is one of the best . Not crowded good for walk

Not the best beach in Thailand, would suggest it to be on the bottom. Very small and full of tourist not worth going.

Unless you are staying close by this is not worthy of a visit - not well maintained and lots of rubbish - water quality is a shade better than Pattaya Beach but that's about it I am sorry to say.
