    Super walk and torrent
Beautiful nature hike to have superb waterfalls. Water at 25, we appreciate that the sea is at 30! Free ride we just pay for water and food for the fish. It is possible to swim in isolated basins. It's beautiful

Very nice walk for those who like a little effort
Very nice walk. Not suitable for children. You have to walk on narrow natural paths. You should definitely wear shoes and no slippers etc. for this walk. When you arrive at the falls, you can immediately follow the path to the right to the waterfall. If you walk on the left you can go through the river. There are no tourists there and you can take very nice pictures. You can't get all the way up the left. You have to go back down and then follow the footpath on the right. Highly recommended for those who like a little effort.

    Very nice
Very nice place, we were on a taxi and the driver drove to this place. It's definitely worthed it. The waterfalls are spectacular, not the best ever but quite big, nice pictures there and good place to refresh your body jumping into the water. Small local shops there.

This is a very very long walk through the jungle, but the waterfall at the end is so quiet and huge and great to swim.

On the walk, almost everyone gives up and turns back. Or they get to one of the many little waterfalls thinking they've made it and then head back.

Use google maps to see when you're there. It takes a while. But when you get there, there is basically no-one there, it's huge and there is an incredible place to swim. I'ts so picturesque.

The food in the cafe at the start is very cheap and quite nice. The parking is free and plentiful for mopeds.

Worth the visit if you don't mind the walk.

We loved this waterfall. We went around 10am and no one else was there. You park up near the food stalls. Then stay on that side of the water, on your right will be the Hin Lad sign with a map and you follow the trail from there.

It’s about a 30 min walk, towards the end the path does seem disappear but if you stay parallel to the water and keep going through the trees you find the path again.

Hin-Lat waterfall at Samui Island 🇹🇭

This place quite nice if you like hiking and outdoor activities.
Because you can read this waterfall by motorbike or car directly. You have to take a walk at least 30 mins from the parking. The rough is fully in the jungle so it can be uncomfortable for heavily weight traveler. Sometimes the pass is quite narrow but it is exacted. 🙂

If you can give it like a half-day of your time, it is a worthwhile place to visit.

Those pictures are in May, so I think if you travel on rainy or monsoon reasons, it might be more beautiful.

Read a lot of reviews saying it was a strenuous hike and to wear trainers/take plenty of water & bug spray. Went between rain showers and followed the path on google maps and the beaten track, up towards the top of the waterfall then the path disappeared 2/3rds of the way up. As there was no clear path to follow we had to turn back so didn’t even make it to the waterfall. It’s a shame as we were prepared for the hike but something must’ve disrupted the path so it’s inaccessible now, could be due to lack of maintenance during covid:(

Must have trainers/boots and a sure foot as it is very rocky. Took around 45 to 60 minutes of slow but sure climbing to get up there. Take water as it gets hotter than beach areas. Some nice areas to stop and bathe in river. Surrounds at start of trek are pleasant. Have a beer when you come down and watch the fish and water fowl.

I personally loved it, becuase i like nature and the dzungel. The trip was a little exhausting for some. You have to climb high up in the dzungel to get to a great point where you can look down and over the treetops. But beware, do not climb up the waterfall rocks, they are very slippery! Please use the paths next to waterfall! And bring a bottle or two water with you, you´ll need it!

It was a 5km hike (or so my phone said) there and back to go all the way to the top. I must say it is a really strenuous hike to get there so not for the faint hearted. There is lots of areas to stop off along the way where the water kind of pools. The jungle hike really is beautiful, we loved it. Its mosquito heaven though so if you are prone to bites take lots of spray!

This is not a normal review for the faint hearted..only intrepid FIT and suitably atired should atempt this but the rewads are stunning.
Fist of all , take food and water with you , you will know why when you get there .
go to main area, take piks , feed fish, have some food and a drink.. then set off up the path thru jungle towards the waterfall, go past a nice shack, hut in the jungle.. lovely photo oprtunity.. carry on untill you get to the actual waterfall/water , the water there is damed so it looks like a big pond, go over the wall to the opposite side and make your way up the stream passing small waterfalls on the way .. keep heading against the flow... dont hang around, this is boring compared to further up.. about 45 mins later youll get to a big 30 /40 foot sheer cliff wall with water cascading into a rock pool you can swim in ..if noone is there swim and enjoy.. take photos .... it is lovely......
Now for the real bit ... after the cliff waterfall youll be on your own, NO tourists guaranteed.. but its not easy getting to it ..... from the rock pool as your facing it turn left and walk into the jungle . climb up and make your way towards UPSTREAM... what your trying to do is go up and around the 30 /40 foot waterfall its not easy but bear with it .. and eventually head right towards the stream and you should be above the waterfall.................. from here your on your own.. just meander up stream i did . and i even stripped off naked and had a swim in the many many rockpools... even did some naked treking ...lol this is why you need drink and food cos youll be tired from climbing .. but believe me it is worth while ... ive never experienced anything as good and ive been to samui loads.... this is my secret escape in future.... ignore other reviews .... this is the real deal... go where i say.. come back here and tell me your opinion on it .... i defy you not to be blown away by it...

Set at the foothills to the waterfall attraction is a restaurant/cafe, temple, tourist market stalls, toilets and usual refreshment vendors.

The hike to the waterfall takes a while and the often hilly track saps the energy on a typical hot and humid Thai day. You'll probably hear some strange sounding insects as you make the walk through the tropical jungle pathway, but the walk is worth it - if only to dip your feet in the pool at the waterfall. Take a drink as you're not going to get one until you get back to the waterfall entrance vendors. :D

We went to the waterfall today. The climb through the forest was nice and easy despite of the rain. On our way back we decided to have a look at the Hin Lad Temple, where the dog suddenly attacked and bitten me (white dog)! We did absolutely nothing to provoke it, so be careful crossing the bridge at the entrace (now I have to make anti-rabbies vaccination course).
