A very clean & peaceful Wat. The chedi is interesting, octagon shaped with 4 faces of Buddha at the top. It was laundry day when I visited, Monk robes were hanging everywhere!

Access to the vihara is not permitted. However, the beautifully adorned white chedi, which is topped with four faces of Buddha facing in each of the four directions, makes this temple unique and worth visiting.

The Wat Pan Waen Temple is not much crowded so you can enjoy a peaceful visit to this temple. It is located in south of old district of Chiang Mai.
