The temple area is close the the old city and is worth a look. It was not busy so it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings

I came through it only occasionally, it's worth seeing, quiet place, very old temple,right next to the big road,many of these ancient temples in Chiang Mai, after really can come in, do not need tickets.

Do the ritual where you make a wish and send water up to the Buddha! And don't forget to write your name down and think of good intentions on the scroll!

One of my faves in the whole Thailand. Really liked it it, took some really cute pics from the entrance playing with the elephant. The visit is quite quick tho, besides they were repairing some of the stuff
