We booked the 2 nights/ 3 days trekking and it was amazing thanks to our guide Danny who with wit and humour made it simply amazing. The food was awesome and the setting pretty good considering you are in a jungle. Highly recommended!

I wish I'd read the reviews on trip advisor before booking. First things first, the trip is fine for only 1000 baht. Nothing is to an amazing standard, but parts e.g. the rafting were fun. It's one of the most publicised trips in Chiang Mai, particularly by guesthouses. But what I really want to talk about is the treatment of... More

After the reviews on this site, I was a bit sceptic (booked before reading it) but the trip was amazing. They delivered service the way they said they would. We had an elephant ride on elephants who seemed threated right. The guide was very professional and kind, told us a lot about the jungle and the medicine/food the jungle provided,... More

We did the 2D1N treck including waterfall, overnight at the tribe village, elephant camp, whitewater and bamboo rafting. First of all, think about what you want before booking this trip, since the cultural aspect of meeting the local tribe on this tour is actually non-existent. We were a group of 12, which seems to be the max number of tourist... More

A quick word of advice. Do not visit the long neck village. Its the definition of a tourist trap. You are dropped off outside a village which has been turned into a market seemingly with the sole intention of selling tat to unsuspecting tourists who go with the aim of learning something. Its best avoided as it started off the... More

I read about the appalling TA review but still give it a try. Once I step in their shop and ask a few questions I think the TA review are right, the lady inside are rude, especially when I ask about the chances to see the long neck tribe - "go away (using hand sign) if you don't trust us"... More

It was like what most reviewers here have said. It was really sad to look at the conditions of the elephants. Lunch was worst than instant cup noodles, trekking was a quiet and hurried affair, waterfall is small and crowded with tourists lying on a small wooden platform filled with files, water rafting was organized by very rude and angry... When booking our tour we found a lovely description for a one day trek in a baanchang catalogue that included playing with baby elephants, a one hour elephant ride, a white water rafting trip, and finally some bamboo rafting. When we arrived at the elephant camp, there were no baby elephants and we could immediately see that we had the... More

We booked a 3 days/2 nights tour. One of our tour guides couldn't even speak English, so he didn't explain anything about the environment neither about the forest and the flowers. He was just 18 years old, he didn't take any responsibility for the group and he was almost running instead of walking up hill. This was ok for me,... More

It definitely was a budget tour, driving around in a Songthaew all day in 39 degree heat isn't fun. We did the one day Karen Hill tribe trek. There was almost no one else there except our 7 person group, so that good. After the Karen(long neck) village we went to the elephant camp for the elephant ride. It seems... More
