Authentic Thai market
Feb. 2020 • Couples
99.9% Thai shoppers. So you know you are getting the real experience shopping here. Bargaining/haggling is accepting... but do it in a friendly way. Tho there are products made in China here, you can find authentic Thai products if you know what you are looking for. Two things of note: excellent food court and the BEST sai ou (northern Thai sausage) stand..... just look for the large crowds lining up to purchase.

Awesome fun shopping!

Best place to get any and all items, whether it’s tourist type items or every day items! Great prices, this is where the locals shop themselves, it’s a maze, but well worth the adventure!!

Lots of poses, lots of negatives

Like most of the markets in Bangkok, Wararat Market is hectic, noisy and just great fun. You can eat great food, buy cheap clothes and take memorable photos. Just try not to be irritated by the heavy duty sales talk. If you so much as look at a t shirt, someone will pounce on you. Relax and take it easy. This is exhilarating Bangkok

Authentic Night Market
Feb. 2020
After stopping at the Chiang Mai Night Bazzar and finding it much to touristy we decided to walk over to the Warorot Night Market.

We found this market to be much more authentic. Great food stalls and very reasonably priced. They also have a flower market and fruit market where you can pick up all kinds of delicious fresh fruit.

Good for bargains
Feb. 2020 • Couples
This market is the go-to for cheap souvenirs. Lots of shops selling the same thing so you can take your time to bargain and get the best deal. Don't expect nice setups but I like it for its local, authentic atmosphere. Wish I know this place earlier as I realised I was ripped off buying souvenirs from other places. Even supermarkets! There is also a local foodcourt at the basement with cheap food but I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the quality and hygiene standards.

The mother of all markets.

This wholesale market in Chiang Mai is an experience you should not miss. Prepare to take in the smells and the buzzing activity. There are designated areas for different products with food stalls thrown in between. You can find some real value for money carts to eat from. One of the best Khao Soi soup I had was from a lady here.

Prepare to bargain before you buy anything.

Good place to stock up snacks
Jan. 2020 • Friends
Good place and good price to get snacks, nuts and edible souvenirs. Go ahead and bargain and you would be a 10% knock off. Shows the starting price is not crazy inflated.

Local market
Jan. 2020 • Couples
Located in Chinatown, this market seems for the local community. Selling everything from fresh produce, dried food stuff, clothing, cockery, luggage n cooked food.

Some shops do have price labels. Even so, its gd to try n haggle for a better price.
