My boyfriend and I had a traditional Thai massage with therapists Job and Pin. The staff were extremely welcoming, offering us welcome drinks and refreshing towels whilst we filled out our questionnaire. Job and Pin then washed our feet before we headed to the massage room. Job and Pin did a fantastic job of the massage, felt like a new woman when I left! They were attentive and gentle and did an amazing job of stretching us out!! The experience was completed with complimentary ginger tea and rice cakes - we had a really wonderful time and would recommend to anyone looking for a Thai massage experience in Chiang Mai!

I can't recommend this Fah Lanna enough (I went 4 times during my 6 day stay)...it's been one of the top 3 highlights during my three weeks in Thailand. It's truly a stunning spa. From their relaxing ambiance, to the great customer service, to the thorough questionnaire, to the welcome and departing drinks - it's all really lovely and well put together. As with any spa you go to, it's all about the massage therapist. I'm deeply thankful that I was connected with Tar at the Nimman Branch. She's truly the best masseuse I've encountered. She's strong, intuitive, and focused. I came to Fah Lanna with a variety of tight muscles (neck, traps, lats, lower back, glutes) and without any further explanation beyond the brief questionnaire, Tar found each spot in my body. Her ability to isolate muscles and work out the tension is unparalleled. I tried the bamboo massage, thai massage, and head/back/shoulder massage. For me and my body, the thai and head/back/shoulder was exactly what I needed (the bamboo was good also and an interesting experience that I wouldn't find back in the states). The stretching of the thai massage was really something. My partner who also saw Tar got the thai and hot oil massage and loved those as well. We both like hard/intense pressure massages and she certainly brought it (though was mindful in checking in periodically about her pressure). Do yourself a favor and check out Fah Lanna. Make sure to ask for Tar - you'll be SO glad you did!

Wonderfull experience. Booked a head, shoulder and back massage. Was a delight! What i liked was the fact that i had to fill in a form at the beginning, where i could highlight my preferences. That made me feel really comfortable. Everything felt very professional. Starting with a welcome drink, and ended with hot tea and cookies. Everything looks amazing. Wod recommend this!

I had the Spa package and got Ochin as the therapist. I had a headache and didn't feel great before the treatment, but l became so relaxed and better after the 2 hours treatment. It was an experience for all the 5 senses. The sounds, feelings, sights - even the tea before and after was magical. I really recommend this place for a truly great spa experience!

My sister and I went to Chiang Mai and visited a spa daily. We went to all three Fah Lanna chains and experienced multiple treatments. While we also sampled four other spas, Fah Lanna was easily the best in terms of atmosphere and the skill of the therapists. We sampled a number of treatments including the Herbal Balm Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Cream Massage, scrub, facial and foot massage. All were lovely and skillfully attended to. The pre-treatment tea was cold and refreshing and the post treatment snacks delightful. While this review is under Old Town, I also want to specifically thank the Nimman Team. We went to Nimman two hours before our appointment hoping we could be accommodated early (we were not enjoying the shopping as much as we had hoped in the area). The team were able to accommodate us and we are very grateful! The only downside is at opening time (12 noon) the reception area does feel a bit more chaotic than a spa of this calibre should, I would recommend booking your treatment from 12:30pm onwards to avoid this initial flurry of activity. All three chains have skilled therapists. Visually I prefer Old Town and Nimman to Night Bazaar but would happily return to any branch.

What a great way to unwind and relax right at the heart of Chiangmai. I enjoyed the authentic Thai massage. Ochin is my therapist. He has excellent techniques and massages weight very well. This is a Thai massage that combines yoga. It has stretching. I really like it. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I also like that they serve a welcome drink while waiting for your massage and warm tea after your massage. Perfect experience.

The spa was everything you could imagine. Being a world traveler it makes your demand so high for service and quality. This Spa went beyond my initial expectations. Staff was extremely professional but social at the same time. The massage was so therapeutic and left feeling relieved. It’s definitely highly recommended by my wife and I. Will most definitely be returning when back in Thailand again.

I needed something like this while visiting Chiang Mai. Just in the old town this spa seems like entering a different world, the reiki massage was amazing and I feel like a cloud. Pu was my masseuse, and this was the absolute best massage I have ever received! Pu was so strong but also gentle in handling and moving my body throughout. She also checked frequently to make sure I was feeling ok. Would highly recommend this location and Pu as your masseuse! Went with friends in a group of 8 and they were very accommodating. Also given a lovely iced fruit drink before and tea/crackers after, both with a cold cloth. Would love to return!

Highly recommend the massage here; we had the package for traditional Thai massage and herbal compress. The masseur was very professional & they also adjust to the ideal strength for the customer. It was also a nice touch at the end with ginger tea and rice cakes :)
