Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed here for 1 week during low session. I heard it is the only true western boxing gym in chiang mai. My week was very good! A lot of focus on technique and padwork. Good trainers and location. The only downside is that they are missing a ring, but was told its coming in a couple of months.

Non is an Olympic medalist teaching Muai Thai and western style boxing in Chaing Mai.
The gym is exceptionally clean! The technique taught is without parallel!

This guy is the real deal. Wether you’re a beginner or a seasoned warrior, Non and his team will guide you and sharpen your skills in a way that will leave a lasting impression and improve your game and overall fitness.

Beginners should not be intimidated. These guys are total sweethearts. Kind and friendly. But seriously passionate and driven to teach and push you to be your best.

If you’re in Chaing Mai and you want to get a good workout, learn the art of Muai Thai, or do some good old fashioned boxing, this is the place you need to go!

I can’t speak highly enough of BBN boxing and will definitely be returning to train with Kru Non, Kru Nom, and the coolest of the cool Kru Aekaset

Thanks again guys for the training and the memories!!!

I an traveling around Thailand and did a session at the BBN Boxing Gym. The coach was awesome and he showed me all the basic stuff you need to know about mutay thai (i am beginner!) it was an awesome session. He was very patience but still kicked my ass that i need to workout hard. I defentily recommend this place when you are in Chiang Mai.

The head trainer, Non, was an Olympic boxer in the early 2000’s. His mastery of boxing, paired w intimate knowledge of Muay Thai makes him a phenomenal trainer!
He is capable of teaching and humbling even the most advanced of students, but posssesses the humility himself to teach any number of curious beginners as well.
Kru Tony is also a bad mofo w some obscure number of Muay Thai fights (I believe they are in the 300’s) and he is great on pads. He also can help to develop a body’s clinch game.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced kickboxer, boxer, or MMA fighter wanting to work on your hands...give BBN a shot.

I came to Thailand with the intention of wanting to get fit and I have been told that Thai boxing was they way. I was there for 2 months, I tried a few gyms prior to this one and left them after a few sessions as they were too commercialised and were just after your money and no real interest to help you. I came to train with Non, and I ended up staying for a month training with him. The sessions everyday were different and I saw my fitness level, endurance and stamina increase. I learnt quickly and my mistakes were quickly identified and corrected (not like a the other gym where I was injuring myself as I wasn't kicking right). I trained twice a day (and my level of fitness was pretty crap to say the least). the morning runs killed me initially but at the end of the month I could run non-stop without even taking a breather, I managed to challenge and be challenged in the sparring sessions and sort of keep up with Non ( anyone who knows Non, knows he is fast paced and will keep you on your toes during the drills). I came out of the one month session, dropping a few dress sizes :) but most importantly a realisation of what I was capable of. I learnt so much (that I grew a love for Thai boxing I practice it back in my home country) and definitely can say I will be able to defend myself if needed. I really appreciated the care and attention that was given during the sessions and that's what made this gym that extra bit special. Thanks to the guys who trained me.

Training in BBN gym was crazy, My trainer Non put me to my paces and really help me understand the importance of technique over power.
This place welcome everyone from all walks of life and i really liked that attitude towards training. I am planning to come back and train for longer period in chiang mai as i was very comfortable and happy with my training. I been to few gyms in chiang mai and this felt like the best value for what i was paying.
There are few improvements which i would recommend such as possibility doing the runs around the local area. All in all i would recommend anyone to give it a afternoon to see if you like kick some bags and de-stress.

I was lucky enough to meet fellow backpackers in the Night Bazaar and they recommended me to try this place as they have had a positive and warm time with the local trainers. As i had few days left on my short break before moving on Vietnam.
It was easy to get in contact with them via FB and of i went to my first ever session thai kickboxing. I had fun was the least i could say, i regret not knowing earlier as i would of come here from the beginning of my stay.
well worth the money i paid for and i recommend anyone to give it ago while your here in Chiang Mai.
