Our hosts wanted to show us a typical night market and this didn't disappoint. There is row upon row of stalls selling anything and everything, some random Transformer statues, a mini Eiffel Tower, and extensive food stalls. If you do not have command of the Thai language or a local to guide you, it would be a struggle. However we had a magnificent fresh seafood broth at Auntie Mics, plus an accompanying soundtrack. Quite an experience!

The location is far off from the city, probably a solid 30mins taxi or private hire car journey.
The place is lively as it is catered mostly for the locals. Price wise, it is definitely much more value for money as compared to the usual places in the city.

The market is very wide, selling clothes, shoes, drawing a lot of food, dazzled. In front of the market, there are 2 robots standing in the entrance and exit during covid. Body temperature before entering the market. is to go for a walk and buy food Walk around and look around in the market, but you might not be able to walk in every corner because it's very wide. It's fun and it's an exercise in me. There are a lot of food to eat, including buffets, one-dishes, papaya salad noodles. and many more If you want to know, we have to go for a walk together.

Good night market that has shoes, clothes, manicure and IT shops. A bit far off from central Bangkok, so a taxi is a better travel option. Good selection of food next to the shopping area. Lower prices than the malls. Only saw locals during our visit, not a very touristy type of market. Shop keepers were friendly!

Many others have written reviews about the place so there's little need for me to do the same but what I did want to say is that taking a taxi there is the most convenient and easiest way to get there. My recommendation? Since the train and subway do not stop next to the market, that is not an option. However, you might consider taking the subway to the Lat Phrao station before catching a taxi. The Lat Phrao station will at least get you as close to the night market as possible. That's what I did yesterday. I took the subway to the Lat Phrao station, walked out (I don't think it matters which exit you take) and then hail a cab. From that station to the night market, it took the cab about 15 minutes and the cost (using the meter) was about 115 baht. When I was done, I simply caught a cab back to the subway station and rode back to my hotel along Sukhumvit. Good luck!

This is a very local night market. The wares there are mostly imitations made in China or from the region. They are good copies, but definitely not original. However, they are all affordable and you may even get a small discount.
Other than shopping for copy products, you can also find some decent food at very affordable prices. However some of the restaurants do have suspect hygiene conditions, so I would warn you first if you are susceptible to food cleanliness and the effects after eating.
There's a nice carpark spot opposite the market so if you're driving, you can leave your car there safe with other cars parked.
Not a good place to go if it rains. Very little shelter.
Good for children.
Perfect for those on a very tight budget.

This is located nearby Don Mueang Airport. So if you are staying in one of the hotel near the airport you should just grab a cab to this place. It's another huge market by the highway and has lots of variety. They sell everything on the floor and you can find almost anything here from food, beers, clothing, toys and etc. You can find preloved item or what the local might call "bundle" shop where they sell second hand item (branded and non-branded).
They also provides ample of stalls and restaurant basically a food court nearby the entrance of the market. And if you walk a little further in you can find stretch of bars where each one of the bar has their own live band. You can shop, you can have your dinner there and head to the bar for few drinks before your flight the next day.
I find this place a little less crowded than Chatuchak ie this one stall sells shoes and the one next to one could be selling plants, and next to it could be selling pets clothing. That sort of a little unorganized. But hey its not big deal. All you gotta do is walk aroound survey the price and turn back to the stall which u think reasonable to buy from.
Most of the people who comes here are usually the locals. So if you dont speak Thai, be prepared to spare some time because they will somehow find someone who can speak basic english. Thai people are nice aren't they?
Some poeple call this market "Ramintra Night Market" and some call it "Talad Li Duan" which basically mean Night Market by the Highway. (if im not mistaken)
Operation hours of this place would be from 5pm til late night.
And it opens EVERYDAY!
If you do not have enough cash, do not worry there will be few ATM by the entrance :)

The place is quite huge for a night market having locals selling bags, clothings, earrings, clocks, accessories, anything you might need in your household in the middle of the square. On the edge of the square, you can get all the local food.
We had food gopping from chilli seafood for 399THB, then bought mango with sauce 35 THB, Ramen soup THB 175 which is so delicious but very mall portion and finally ice dessert 170THB. We had all the food we need for the night. Great experience.

Read a lot of good reviews about this market, hence we decided to give this place a go.
This market is located very far and the only way to reach there, if you have limited time is by taxi. We got a grab and it costed us 170 THB one way from our hotel till this place.
The first thing that you will notice once you reach here is that this market caters to local thai residents. Its a proper authentic thai market and hardly any vendor there speaks english. We had a lot of difficulties communicating for food and ended up returning hungry. As mentioned by many travellers here, the prices on merchandise is very low but so is the quality. We didnt find anything upto the mark or anything exclusive which you wont get in any other night market.
I would suggest, give this market a try only and only if you have lots of time in your hands. Otherwise there are plenty of good markets around.

Don't know why people are ranting about other night markets not being authentic Thai? If you want local Thai night market, then u go to Liab Duan, JJ Green....etc. Don't go to tourist night market & complain that it's not local enough! That's the importance of reading up which night market you like then proceed.
LIAB DUAN:
This is my 2nd choice(champion is Rod Fai Sinakarin) night market in BKK, lots of food choices and shopping under a huge area. A bit of distance from BKK city so plan your timing carefully, I think best is to move off at 6pm++ coz depending on where you stay, it will need some distance to travel to this place. GRAB or UBER is my choice of transport in BKK, so plan ahead.
I enjoyed a good local food dinner, then walked around the area to shop till i drop. After shopping, you can chill out at many of the small pubs. But beware of the loud chaotic music every pubs are playing! LOL!!! Some pubs are playing Dance Music, some Thai POP and some Live bands, it's a mix of everything! LOL! That is the reason why I love BKK! Good mix of everything you want!
1 thing to note is that this is a local Night Market, so don't expect most of the stall owners to speak good English(unlike some big night markets).
