An excellent shopping choice in a city that is absolutely saturated with options. I enjoy shopping in BKK but Terminal 21 and Siam Paragon are just far too busy for me. EmQuartier in particular feels much less busy, and I simply enjoy shopping here most out of the BKK mega malls. Great ambience and a fantastic basement level food court make a great all-rounder. My only drawback is the rather confusing multi-building/wing layout. But once you've visited you'll get the hang of it.

Great shopping Mall. Very big with all the designer names, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Burberry etc. With a lovely food court & eateries of every type to relax in while shopping. Also a cinema complex on the top floor. Easy to get to with a Sky train station right outside. I will definately visit again.

Conveniently placed wrapping the Phrompong BTS skytrain station. Both glitzy malls really do it for good shopping stroll but I'd say the Emquartier stands out more due to its newer features and more exciting places to sit around. Really enjoyed the vibes of the two rooftop bars and eateries: Escape and Flamingo... Great supermarket for extensive foods and premium things to eat- they got great salad bar with good soup selections. Then again, I question how much electricity the mall helms for effective use/display; it just seems so over the top with water works and screen installations (something I came across seeing anything but blue screen errors...) Otherwise, I'd recommend hands down both malls for one of the best conveniences Bangkok can offer.

EmQuartier is another massive shopping mall that is too large, too expensive, and not particularly inviting. Mainly high-end designer stores, mostly empty and staffed with bored-looking employees. I did want to visit Sephora for its perfume selection but found the choice disappointing and not conducive to browsing in peace. A long walk from our hotel in Soi 1, but the park over the road was a welcome retreat before the long trek back.

Have been going here for the pas 13 years as earlier I used to stay in Soi 36. Maybe I am so used to it. Decent food court with a variety of cuisines and some decent shopping. Noticed on this trip that it was not very busy as usual as some of the newer malls seems to be busier.

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls
lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll
rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While
the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of
entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys)
where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for
a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and
soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
