Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went on the Bangkok Highlights tour on the 15th of March. I could not find a similar tour online with this scope; 8.30 start to 3-3.30pm finish with entry to the'big 3'-Royal Palace/Wat Prakaew, Wat Pho and Wat Arun (although the old part is currently under scaffolding and closed to the public). We only had 2 days to see Bangkok and I recommend this for time efficiency as most of the tours I looked at show you the buildings but you have to return yourself to enter at a later time.On our tour the big 3 are done by morning. After lunch (and they stop at a wonderful noodle place) there is flexibility, I suspect, but as we were a tired party, we simply did 2 Wats on the west bank and the flower market.
The meeting point is a lovely cafe but currently there is poor public transport to the old town and the traffic is slow from the East side where most tourists stay. This meeting point will prove to be more accessible when the Phra Athit BTS opens in 3 years.

We had a great experience. It was really helpful to have a Bangkok native show us around and help us try new things and answer questions. So glad we did the tour otherwise we wouldn’t have had nearly the same experience on our own. The tour was efficient and enjoyable. I would definitely use again.

We had good tour of Bangkok with Tom. Lots of walking which was good as it allowed us to see more of the city than just the typical tourist spots. Tom was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. Took us to some great food places and even hailed a taxi for the trip home for us. Tom provided lots of water as we needed it, which was appreciated as it was very warm. The booking process couldn't haven't been easier.
We were staying in Lumpini (near Chit Lom on the Sky train) and it took us 30 minutes in a taxi on the way there, for an 8:30am start on a Saturday. Cost 150Thb set rate. Took 1 hr 10mins on the way home at about 3pm, 160Thb on the metre.

We selected and went on the most Bangkok Highlights day tour (Walking tour combined with amazing local bus and boat) with IamThaiGuide on 29 March 2016. Our tour guide was very friendly and helpful. The tour was great and our tour guide explained a lot about the culture, history of Thailand and detailed description of the sights. It was so many things to see in this tour (The grand palace, biggest reclining Buddha, flower market, etc.). The food was delicious, we stopped for lunch at a local noodle restaurant. And the local people were friendly. We highly recommend this tour for an easy going with the most highligt places to see when you visit Bangkok.

Loya and Tob were amazing tour guides. First, they were so helpful and flexible in the planning of my tours since I did not exactly know where I would be staying until closer to the time of the tours. They were responsive over email and sent simple and clear directions. I ended up having 2.5 days to see Bangkok and left the plan to them to make the most comprehensive experience. I love really getting a good feel for a city - the culture, food, transport systems, daily life, etc. The first day Loya took me to the floating markets and canal tour. What an experience! The markets speak for themselves, and Loya was so helpful at making what could have been a very overwhelming experience so easy and fun! The food there was delicious and I could have 'people-watched' all day. The next day I only had the morning available and went with Tob on the food tour. Tob is darling and his excitement and passion for his city was very apparent in his tour. We ate so many delicious things it's hard to keep track! I loved going to places that felt very local and off the tourist path. Have I mentioned how much I love Thai food?! The whole trip felt like a food tour!! On my last day, they combined the Bangkok highlights tour with a bicycle tour. WHAT A DAY! This was the day I saw most of the 'must-sees' in Bangkok with Tob. Then we moved to a few other places across the river on bikes. The bike ride is fantastic! Bangkok is not the easiest place to ride, if you can imagine, but Tob was always looking out, and some of the places on the bike tour were my favorite of my whole trip. Another big bonus with these tours, is they take pictures along the way for you. As a solo traveler, this is huge! I always have great pictures of sites, but none with me in the picture, or sad excuses for selfies. Loya and Tob have already shared the pictures, and I am so happy to have more photo memories of my time in Bangkok. I highly recommend these tours for a relaxed, easy going but thorough visit in Bangkok! Thanks, Loya and Tob! Miss you.

The tour guide was so much fun! I can't imagine traveling through Bangkok without booking a tour adventure through IamThaiGuide. Our tour guides were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and super thoughtful. We saw amazing temples(Grand, Emerald, Reclining Buddha and three more), traveled across the bustling river on motor boats, visited the colorful flower market, walked through lively street trade markets, and ate at a local authentic restaurant with delicious local cuisine. Overall fun, fantastic, and a wonderful Bangkok adventure.

We used this company 2 years when we first visited Bangkok. When we went back for our wedding they were the first people I got in contatct with! They remembered my husband and I immediately and purposefully gave us the same guide again, which was really lovely. The customised a tour for us, remembering that we wanted a tour that was off the beaten track with very local tastes. Another wonderful day - I highly recommend them.

Spent the day on a private tour with Loya and Tob. Had a wonderful time. Got to see a more authentic Thailand, which was a nice change of pace from the hectic city. Tried lots of different food that I most likely wouldn't have, if it wasn't for my awesome tour guides. I highly recommend this tour, you will have an amazing time!

Our tour with Loyla was so much fun. She took us to a market along a canal where we tried so much amazingly good food, took a boat ride down the canal and then to the main open air market. Loyla was a joy and very knowledgeable. Great way to spend a day in Bangkok.
