Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

And especially in the mid-morning sunshine. The golden glints were simply dazzling. The Chakri Group of palaces and administrative buildings are particularly stunning and they amply reward the amateur photographer without too much effort on his/her part whatsoever. That was certainly the case for me.A great place to attend with a friend.

This throne hall is the most important building inside the Royal Grand Palace compound in Bangkok. It is still in used occasionally.
The combination of Thai and European arts built by the two British architect from Singapore. See it and get some pictures before leaving the Grand Palace compound.

always nice to see how the monarchy choose to show off their design skills and they did not disappoint on their lavishly decorated buildings. A lovely afternoon.

After just coming from Wat Pho it felt very much the same but slightly grander.

The crowds were enormous and this made it hard to get into both physically & mentally.

Having shorts & singlets on we had to shell out $10aud for some ridiculous clothing which gave us a laugh.

We only lasted in here 30 minutes because of the crowds, the heat and the fact it's another temple.

At $25 AUD entry it makes for an expensive experience.

If you haven't been before, go but I doubt there would be many return visitors.

Is a complex of Royal palaces named after the name of the last Royal dynasty. In one of the palaces the deceased body of the member of the Royal family is exhibited for 100 days after death, before the body was cremated on the large square in front of the Royal Palace.

I never tire of visiting this place. It is SE Asian exotic and a gem in the crown of Thailand. Check out the mural along the inner wall it is one of the longest in the world Remember to dress modestly this is a holy place of the royals. Avoid the touts you do not need a guide they are hustlers. The entrance is on the side.

The Grand Palace was crowded, we did manage to get in and look around, impressive once in. Lots of Temples and shrines, places selling stuff, food can be brought at stalls.

It is really The Royal Grand Palace. What a beauty, and beside its beauty the people are just genuine.
