Get to Ratchadamnoun Klang and wait at the bus stop in front of the 7-Eleven (at the same side of the street as the McDonald's at Ratchadamnoun Klang but you don't need to go as far as the Democracy Monument coming from Khao San Road)....More

If you're curious as to how the wasted, unwashed, unshaven, uncaring children of the world's wealthy are squandering their fathers' funds on bad tattoos, corn rolls, booze, drugs, and general hedonsim, the while evincing the uninformed superiority of arrogant youth, then come to Khao Sahn...More

There has been a ban recently to support vendors and street food operators from being in the area. We turned up around 4pm and the whole place was a ghost town, literally no one was there. Well done to everyone in charge in destroying an...More

No trip to Bangkok is complete without going to Khao San Road, especially if you like people watching. Lots of different places to eat, stay, buy things, and so many people to watch. A great place to visit.

Really bizarre. Used to be a very lovely place, now there was hardly anyone there. Bannings on street food and vendors have hurt the area.

The street is very lively and fun! It is a great experience to see the road in full swing after 6pm. Lot’s of great bars and street food to taste. Definitely worth a visit.

Totally confused. Heard this was some iconic street, so we went to visit. Arrived after visiting Grand Palace and it was so quiet. It was just a normal road. Utterly pointless visit. Nothing like what is portrayed in movies or tv.

This street is tourist trap. Loads of shops, bars and tailors. The best times are over. Crovded and overpriced. It all started here. But now the spirit is gone. I suggest a parallel street - Soi ram Buttri. There you can experience what tourists loved...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,
it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn

this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to
Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
