The entrance fee for tourists is 50baht. For 50baht, you get a unique experience. I was travelling alone and just took a boat rode going here and walked after alighting at Phanfa station. I'm not a Buddhist, so my sole purpose was to see the...More

5 min walk from the canal taxi stop closest to the old town. Worth doing on the way into the Grand Palace.

Great walk up, interesting to see all the statues and the gongs. The views from the top are stunning and then the different Buddhas depending on the day of the week you were born on is really interesting.

It is quite a walk to the top but once you are there it is well worth it. Very beautiful temple and panoramic view of the city.

Would definitely recommend a visit here for great views of Bangkok. Its also not too busy, so views aren't spoilt by lots of tourists

It's hard to find a place in Bangkok for serenity, but the Golden Mountain is it. The climb was easy and suprisingly cool due to the multiple waterfalls and greenery. The view was spectacular.

We always like to find somewhere where we can get a higher view across a landscape and this fitted the bill. We are lucky to be travelling in low season so there were only about a dozen other people there. Quite an easy walk up...More

You can use all kinds of transport s.a. TukTuk, public bus (funny!) or by motor cycle. There is also a nice walk along the canal Rob Krung. You will encounter many salesman. Just about everything in Bangkok can be reached... More
