The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Really beautiful park to visit, you can step directly outside of the busy streets of Bangkok into a very peaceful park. It is a really nice walk and running area. Stalls available to buy snacks & drinks. Outdoor gym area, children's play area and sport court facilities available here too. Great turtles to see here too. Highly recommend a visit here.
Use Phrom Phong BTS Station to get here, its located directly off the BTS exit.

Unfortunately, the park is currently under construction. Part of the park is closed and the water levels are low. The bikes and boats are not available for renting. With that being said... we really enjoyed the park. So many birds, turtles, and jumping fish. A beautiful walk and the flowers are great. We saw a huge lizard type animal. Lots of benches to sit at. The gold statue and meditation area was beautiful. A small oasis in the big busy city.

The park is really quite nice, just don't take your dog. I googled dog parks in my area and this one came up, only to find of course that there are no dogs allowed in the park.

Don't go there, it's another spot where the true racist colour of Thai business understanding comes to light.

Membership 60 THB for Thais, 300 THB for foreigners

Entrance fee 40 THB for Thais, 150 THB for foreigneirs every time you go there

Next to the Emporium mall, Benchasiri Park is a garden on Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok. Spread across about 10+ acres, the park has activities for kids, open gym for men and women and also a basketball court.
The park also has a large lake and a jogging track round the lake. You will also spot few food and beverage options inside the park or just outside next to the Phrom Phong station 🚉

We stayed in the Imperial Queen’s Park, Sukhumvit Soi 22, in Feb 2007 and crossed the Benjasiri Park from the hotel side entrance to shop at Emporium. Otherwise we would not have known the park.

There were non-smoking signs somewhere in the park. We saw one policeman on motorcycle riding around for duty checking. People exercised in the morning and late afternoon. There was a pond, benches to sit, children corner and public toilet.

Quite many high rise buildings were seen around the park.

What we love most was many doves were here. They were not afraid of human beings.

We feel the park is still lack of shades. Trees are not tall and big enough. It’s quite sunny walking through the park by noon. However having this park can help Bangkok to breathe.

Walking out of the park, from Emporium, we took a taxi to Siam Paragon which was in the same street. It was 51 Baht one way. On the way back we took the Sky Train to Phrom Phong Station (connected with Emporium) and it was 50 Baht for two persons.

A small park, situated next to The Emporium shoppping centre on Sukhumvit Rd. There is a sign up to tell you not to feed the pigeons, B1,500 fine. However, this does not deter the Thais or the vendors of bread in the park. Can be difficult to find a clean seat to sit down on. Be careful outside the gates of this park. There are litter police watching you. Dropping a small piece of paper or a cigarette butt will earn you a B2,000 fine. If you do get caught, don't argue with them it'll only make things worse.

The park is along the Sukhumvit Road just outside the bts Phrom Phong. The park is small, you won't see the beautiful monitor lizard, but it is good to get some rest in you are in the area. My hotel was near, so sometimes, indeed to stay at the hotel, I went here to get some rest.

An oasis in the midst of the hustle & bustle of a area along Sukhumvit Road! We enjoyed the exercise equipment and interaction with locals. Location a short walk from the Hilton, we both decided we would like to stay there again (longer this time) and each day we would spend a morning at the park.
