This place was off the beaten path. Almost got heatstroke getting here but it was worth it. There is an aura of peace and quiet joy here. We spent a long time sitting in the garden, watching the birds, enjoying the flowers. Only left because a storm came down.

This is one of the most prettiest places I have ever visited. Read up on King Rama 5's children which should be Rama 6 who had a short life and this is his wife's area she grew up in. She met her husband at MIT in the States whilst she was studying nursing and him a doctor. There are two... More

We took the orange boat to stop 5 and then the local ferry to Din Daeng. There was no sign posts and a very nice Thai lady asked locals for us and showed us the way. She said not many western visitors go there. There was lots of local shops on the way. The gardens are small but tranquil The architecture... More

The place is quite small but it is perfect for relaxing. Even it is a 'kind of' museum which reflect HRH Princess Srinakarindhra's life, princess mother of king Rama V, before she got married and enter the royal family, but the place has many bench for sitting and absorb the history around. You can also see the villagers who live... More

This place was built at His Majesty King Bhumibol Adyulyadej's initiative in 1993 with the intention of old buildings in an area where Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra resided during her childhood.

I stopped here with a guide while doing my city biking tour. During the day there's very people here which makes it a peaceful place to visit. I was told it gets busier in the early evenings when locals come to use it. Dedicated to the current Kings mother it has some interesting exhibitions on her life as well as... More

Enjoy this quite and peaceful park, I have not seen any tourists, only locals! You can stroll through the park before sitting down and relax for a while.

This park consists of gardens and exhibition halls dedicated to the mother of King Rama IX. A bronze statue of the Princess Mother stands in the park. There is also a reproduction of her childhood home. The park is near the Memorial Bridge and within walking distance. Great for a quiet time.

It's a peaceful, quiet little park located a short walk from the Memorial Bridge. It is not crowded like other parks around Bangkok. There is a small store selling some soft drinks, but that's about it in terms of food and beverages. The place is so peaceful and nice that you can spend hours just sitting on the park benches.
