This market is close to Khao San Road and is popular with tourists as well as locals. Stalls here sell Thai made products like clothes, jeans, sneakers and household items at bargain prices. There are also secondhand bookstores and numerous internet cafes.

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,
it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn

this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to

Hello, I would like to konw what neighborhood do you recommend staying in Bangkok. My husband and I will be staying in Bangkok in February 2016. We are looking for for a nice "touristy" neighborhood close to nearby tourist attractions. We are a mature couple in our fourties. Thank you in advance,
