The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

These guys sell you discount vouchers then don’t open the onsen. We visited again today to use a voucher we purchased but the main onsen is closed! Why even open the doors. Both male and female onsen closed. Waste of a journey and time. They didn’t even offer a discount or make this known on social media.

It is somewhat confusing as to where you go and what you do. We went naked, Japanese ladies didn't. Some baths at 44 degrees too hot for us. The garden area is lovely, great to sit and dry off in the buff!
The body scrub was awesome! Worth going for that alone. The massage a bit more hit and niss, she kept putting pressure on my knees, despite being told not to.
Giggled lots!

This was a great spa day for my fiancee and I. Keep in mind that the bathhouses are separated by gender so If your partner is not the same gender as you are, then you two will be separated during the time your spend in the actual baths. These baths are also nude so keep that in mind if you prefer to be modest. For women they give you see through black disposable underwear but it doesnt actually cover too much at all. For men they give you just a small towel. We got the couples Thai massage package that included our onsen entry. The stuff here is definitely more expensive than the massages you can get on the street but theyre really high quality and the environment is so calm and relaxing. The baths themselves are nice as well, there are about 4 different options but I found that I could only really enjoy 2 of the baths. The other 2 baths were either way too hot or super cold. I really like their essential oil bath which i think is a new addition. After our massages and baths, we ate at the restaurant in the spa and it was delicious. Once we were finished at the spa we were so relaxed and tired that we went back to the hotel and had the best naps of our lives. It was a great way to unwind from the craziness that is Bangkok.

I had a fantastic Thai massage and enjoyed bathing. However, the crowd at New Year should have been better managed. What is the point of having an appointment if one arrives and is given a number (18 people before me? Really?). After 20 minutes of waiting I rushed through bathing to get to massage on time. After the massage the baths were filled with even more people than before. Management hopefully will take another look at how they preserve the customer's experience.

I was super excited about this Japanese Onsen and spa since I live in the US. After I enter this place as a first visitor, no one told me what to do first, and of course I asked a guy at the reception and he wasn’t very nice. There’s no direction or any info, what else I can do? Did I bother you?
Even a lady at the shoe place was rude. I thought I’m a customer... why you were so mad at me?
Finally, the guy at the reception, again, I asked about the spa, and he told me a different info, “only 2 hrs massage available today” , so I say “no thank you“, and he goes like “ 1 hr is okay then”. Eh?
So people here had trained like just say “madam” and every thing is gonna be okay? I didn’t ask the Japanese hospitality; just be normal at least.
I’m so disappointed. Feel like I just wasted my time. I thought Thai people are nice.
I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!

This was my second visit here, but the first one was in 2018 before covid.
I enjoyed the facilities and thought they were comparable to what you'd find in a city onsen in Japan. I didn't get a treatment but I did enjoy a milk drink in the lovely courtyard afterwards.
The staff don't really give any explanation but there's information on their website that you can read before going. It seemed to be mostly locals there when I visited.

I visited this Japanese-style hot spring place during my trip in Bangkok on a quiet Wednesday evening. It's not huge like their branch in Pattaya, but it's clean and not too crowded.
They have everything – hot spring baths, saunas, a cold bath, and a steam room. Even though it's smaller than I expected, it felt cozy and peaceful.
I didn't try the massage, but I had dinner there. The food was just okay, but the whole experience was nice. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
If you want a chill spot for a soak in the heart of Bangkok and a calm evening after a long day of exploring the city, this onsen is a good choice.

This was my first experience of an Onsen! Being South African it was a little intimidating to have to get completely naked and be given just a small towel to hides one’s modesty. One is naked whilst in the baths and then you use the small towel to hide your modesty whilst moving from 1 bath to another. However as everyone was naked, you get used to it very quickly. It was nice to see a pretty young crowd all using the Onsen baths!
The baths were fantastic! Everything from hot, cold, mineral rich, bubbles etc as well as a sauna and steam room available.
Then we had a couples aromatherapy massage afterwards which were fantastic! It was wonderful to be given the option of a male or female therapist and so we both chose male.
I highly rate this experience and recommend you give it a try.
I loved it so much I made a second booking for the the last day I am here in Bangkok.

My flight was scheduled at 19:20. So I decided to stay there for the whole afternoon. I check out from my hotel and went straight there at around 11:30. My wife and I walked in to book 2 hours aromatherapy massage. We had lunch in the Japanese restaurant too. It was nice. The therapist was good and we enjoyed the massage. But bathing was not good there as the water was too weak.

Nice experience, great decor. Fantastic massage. Loved it so much, I booked another one while I’m in town with same therapist. Clean space, well-appointed, and highly skilled therapists. I will definitely be back.
