5 stories tall. Dozens of small shops. I saw everything from old PCI cards w/ serial ports to the latest top end hardware. I wasn't looking for software, and didn't pay attention to what was offered in that category. But if you're looking for hardware, you should be able to find it here.

Took my laptop for some repair and to change the screen from one of the larger shops that have the same business model like the Challenger stores I have in my country as they are more reliable compared to the other small shops there. The original items here are more expensive but if you want to do repairs with OEM... More

Prices are pretty accesible, sadly most vendors arent fluent in english and some shops sell imitations (most notable case is the xbox controllers imitations). The shops have different ways, some dont accept bargainin for example, but everyone wants you to buy something, so theyll... More

Now admittedly I am a guy and shopping is not something guys like to do. But in this case I wanted to pass along a few bits of information that only a local would know about. I would have to say that Panthip plaza is perhaps the most visited place for me. If I go there it is either because... More

The biggest electronics market in Bangkok! If you need anything you will find it there. and the area is all packed up with shopping malls. It needs almost 1 full day to go through all the malls quickly.

I was expecting quite a lot about this place as an IT geek, most of the places offer the same things, there are no awesome gadgets, it is difficult to determine fake and non fake products....

You can shop here for computers (hardware/software), photographic equipment and phones. What I do is go to the bigger stores (especially IT City on the top floor, or Banana IT) to get an idea of what's available and what the prices are, and then look at the smaller stores which often have a slightly cheaper price. Most shops here open... More
