Just along the riverside, Asiatique offers many interesting shops and local Thai food. A great place to wander around and shop, and of course to eat and chill out too!

I came to Asiatique when there was the Loy Kathong festival. The atmosphere of Asiatique is very crowded with humans. I feel uncomfortable. Food and souvenirs are sold at high prices. Passenger free boat must queue very long and tiring from Saptan Taksin LRT station.

I recently visited Asiatique and was surprised that I had never been there before. From the BTS sky train it was an easy two minute walk to the free river ferry service. The views from the ferry at night are beautiful. Asiatique was full of...More

Asiatique is located by the Chao Praya river and you can reach there by the free shuttle boat(every 20-30 minutes until 11:30pm) from Saphan Taksin BTS station. It takes 15 minutes. If you are like me who rather spend your free time to enjoy markets...More

It was my second go at this place - I wanted to bring my husband here mainly for the view. You'll pay high tourist prices for food and goods here. Go once to strike it off your list. It's newer and nicer than street markets...More

Either get a river taxi to Asiatique or a taxi via the road. Both are very cheap. No fee is charged to go to Asiatique.

They have some place seem like food corner. I'd not pay much attention on restaurant, pal. I like to enjoy their local street food as Thai people. :)
