Chamchuri Square

Typical Thai office/business center. Shopping kiosks.... busy at lunchtime, banks, restaurants, bookstore mostly for students, and of course a Starbucks. Nothing out of the usual.

This mall is located next to Chulalongkorn University and there are a lot of educational related shops here. With a lot of restaurants but no anchor tenant, this mall has nothing much in terms of entertainment. However if you are looking for English language books, this is the place to shop. The Chulalongkorn University bookstore is on the top floor.

There is no cinema or bowling in this mall. Most of the shops are book shops and stationary. There are a number of restaurants in the mall.

It is unusual for a small shopping centre to survive without an anchor store but this place is a wonderful mix of restaurants, small shops, banks and the occasional nationwide shop (like Boots, True, Asia Books) and even a 7-Eleven.

The mall itself is nothing special but there is an inexpensive food court on ground floor, lots of university students and it's right there when you exit the MRT station. On the fourth floor, there is a science museum called "science square", which is part of the national science museum. It is open 7 days a week and free. It... More

This is not a mall-mall, but more like the food court and bookstore of the University. It has a mini-Tesco, a pharmacy, some typical Asian chains, a stationary store, and some cute cafes/dessert places Sometimes they have a mini market that goes on up on the first floor that sells local products including food. I walk here from the Hua... More

I won't recommend people to come visit this place purposely, but its a good place to get necessities for the city trip if you live in Hua Lamphong area as it is one stop away from the Hua Lamphong MRT station. Good place to stop by for quick lunch due to its location.

The place has strong Air Conditioning which can be useful in the heat and is in a reasonably pictureseque spot. It also contains a Tesco for the Westerner wanting a taste of home!

Chamchuri Square is located on Rama 4 road, walking distance from either Silom Rd or Surawong Rd. It is also a accessible from the San Yan MRT subway station. This shopping/restaurant mall is part of Chulalongkorn University so it will always be busy with students. However there are many restaurants, bakeries, ice cream shops and coffee shops here, from fancy... More

This place is neat and clean and very close to Snake farm, yet nothing much to do. Saw a lot of school kids in uniform, so must be next to a school. Had a fantastic cake and dessert but wanted to do some shopping but disappointed.
