Looking for something unique to do in Bangkok and after a little internet searching, I cameacross the Bangkok Shooting Range. I good selection of guns at a reasonable price. Incredibly located a five minute walk from the Sanum Pao BTS station. I did an online reservation the day before, received a confirmation, went there next day, signed in, paid, then... More

Shooting range is inside a military base, for me this was a bonus seeing the Military equipment all parked up on the way through. No hassles, and even one nice surprise I cannot mention. Not much training on form, safety etc even though I had no experience. Literally just hand you the gun and show you how to hold it... More

Took my lad here 17 year old . We are not experienced at shooting but it all felt well handled. They pick you up and drop you off - which is good as it's difficult to find . Really friendly go for the top package between 2 people . Went to all the attractions in BKK and my son said... More

Great fun, but overpriced and not a large range of weapons to choose from. Driving away from the office to a military base was a bit of a surprise, but rest easy knowing you're not being abducted.

Bangkok Shooting Range offers a few packages with different firearms, and we took Package 3 which included a 9mm Glock, a .22mm Rifle and .45mm Pistol at THB4,500. Do note that the range offers 4 main packages, of which only Package 3 & 4 can be shared between two people. We liaised with the staff via LINE and was pleasantly... More

Although I struggled to find the shooting range at first (because I refused to get a tuk tuk as all the drivers found it hilarious that I was a solo woman looking for a shooting range, because only men did that *eyes roll*). Once I found the shooting range (a short distance from Wat Pho and Grand palace, in the... More

I've been into video games my whole life, specifically call of duty. After all those years of playing today was the day that I fired a real gun. My friend and I both got 9mm pistols and 50 bullets each, after a minor negotiation we got this package from 3300 baht down to 3000 bahts(this works out to be roughly... More

It did not last very long for the 50 bullets but this has made... More

Definitely a great experience to be firing a real gun and the service offered of picking you up and dropping you back at the hotel is great. But the rounds are really expensive (2500 baht for 50 rounds) and there is hardly much instruction. The military staff who oversee the operations don't speak English and are focused on you completing... More

Staying in Ari

Neighbourhood Profile
Ari
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.
