The Chinese counter staff is so rude and impolite. Dinner on the cruise is expensive. I don't understand why the cruise company hires this kind of staff. I think she will destroy many tourists' beautiful nights.
After exploring the ruins of Ayutthaya, we boarded our pre-booked 'Grand Pearl Cruise' to sail on the glorious Chao Phraya river. It was a beautiful journey from Ayutthaya to Bangkok. The cruise was super luxurious with comfortable seats. There was buffet lunch served onboard with...More
Really enjoyed arriving back to Bangkok on the boat after our visit to Ayutthaya. There were such beautiful views of the city and water-side atmosphere but the food was quite dreadful! All the dishes were cold or luke warm at best and drinks very expensive.
You can book these trips thru Internet or local travel agency, price includes pick-up return, cruise and great buffet . Drinks are separate, They also have corkage (300 Baht to open any bottle of wine you bring), the ship has multiple decks so you can...More

Total waste of time and money. Food is awful. A Thai buffet should be full of delicious small bites, like fish cakes, satay etc. This was cold rice dishes and pasta!
If you want to see the river go by “hop on hop off”boat for...More

This is my second time taking Grand Pearl Cruise. I took it many years ago. This time I'm with my sisters. I chose this because I wanted a bigger boat. The boat cruise experience in itself was fun. The food selection in the buffet were...More
An echo of other reviews - disappointing and limited buffet, exorbitant price on drinks, freezing cold temperature inside the boat. We were seated near the rear bar which had a lot of engine noise. The quality of this cruise has dropped considerably since my last...More
