Very good, but not much variety!

I have been here twice, and I love it! Lots of big, hard fighting fish with attitutde, and they will put you to the test in a big way! The only drawback is that they are pretty... read more

Just a quick trip to understand the fishing experience. Pleasantly surprised. Whilst a small lake the size of fish was impressive. Locals mixed with tourists, good service and good local cuisine. For serious fishermen.....not the place to go BUT for those who want to understand that "size does matter"....at least when it comes to fishing....it's the place to go in... More

This lake is not fit for purpose, if you are a Thai that wants to catch small fish for dinner, the design of the platforms and bungalows are fine, if you are a holiday maker or/and avid angler after monsters it is not. Don't get me wrong, if you are in Bangkok and want to catch some big hard fighting... More

I have been here twice, and I love it! Lots of big, hard fighting fish with attitutde, and they will put you to the test in a big way! The only drawback is that they are pretty much all mekong giant catfish! So, if you are going for variety, this is not the best lake. Yet, if you are going... More

If you're tired of the usual shopping and dining in Bangkok and want to try something different, the Bungsamran fishing park is worth considering. Can't think of any other place where one could be guaranteed a big catch! It is located around 45 minutes (depending on traffic conditions) outside Bangkok. If you get a metered cab from Sukhumvit area, it... More

I'm go fishing regularly and love catching alligator gar in the Trinity River in Texas. These Mekong catfish fight harder than those alligator gar! My wife and I caught all we could handle in a few short hours. Lost way more fish than we caught, but just two fish will wear you out for the day :) This is a... More

We had a great time there, the guide was nice and knew what he was doing. The fish were big and hard to catch but within 5 hours we caught about 7 fish. Unfortunately your are not allowed to eat the fish.
