Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had no plans and accidentally found out about ABC Bike Tour. Sceptical at the beginning with changed our minds with every minute spent on the saddle. Great ride and friendly captain of our group (massive thanks to JA). Highly recommended to everybody who wants to have fun and explore Bangkok.

My wife and I enjoyed this bike tour very much. We have taken bike tours in many cities around the world, and this ranks as the most exciting bike tour. Highlights were walking our bikes over a creaky wooden bridge that looked like it was from "Swiss Family Robinson"; wheeling our bikes onto the dock to take the longboat ride across the river; and of course, riding on the elevated walkways in the jungle/swamp in the "Green Lung of Bangkok." Riding on the elevated walkways (no railings) was exciting and at times a bit scary for me. I am a very experienced cyclist, but I do have a small fear of heights and falling off things. Our personable tour guide, On, confided that a number of cyclists on their tours do fall off the elevated walkways each year, mostly just getting wet, but some with serious injuries, so I would hesitate to recommend this bike tour for the timid cyclist. Also, we got a little hungry during the ride (we did the morning ride which started at 8 AM, so no time to eat breakfast beforehand), but there was no food offered during the ride except for a junk food stop very near the end of the ride. Other quibbles: contrary to what it says on the company website, there was no wifi at their office, and no fruit offered during the ride. Our tour guide On did a great job of getting all the participants to bond as a group and entertaining us during the ride.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you very much for sharing your great experience with our company. We are always happy to hear how people enjoyed our trip. Also a big thanks from your guide Aon who is smiling the rest of the day again after I showed her the review. Just to explain your quibbles in more detail: - We operate this company already for 23 years and luckily it is almost never that someone goes "swimming" especially if you compare it to the amount of people we bring daily on our trips over the paths. We always try to ensure everyone's safety during our tours but, to say that it never happens would be lying which we don't like therefore our guide informed you about the possibilities so everyone would be careful. -That you did not had the time to eat breakfast is too bad especially when there is a bike tour on the program. We have on the website written that there is fruit included however, it can occur sometimes that our guide during the ride not can find fruit which she thinks is fresh enough to serve our customers. But you are right is is written and we will ask the web master to write it in more detail . -We not have on our website that we have free wifi at our office, we have stated that we have free internet to use, which means in this case if you need to check something , let's say flight times/bus times / an important expected email we have a computer free to use for anyone who needs to. I hope this information is sufficient to you and whenever you are back you're most welcome to come and join again one of our Amazing Bangkok Cycling tours. I can recommend the day tour or the weekend tour where we will pas a great market where they have fresh fruit for sure and also a delicious lunch on the way.

A massive thank you to Ja and ABC cycles for such a wonderful experience. I was in Bangkok for a mere 3-days -an extended stopover on my way back to NZ from Europe -and given that it was my first time in Bangkok I was really keen to find a fun and low key way of getting a better sense of the city. Cycle touring is most definitely the way to do it. I was lucky enough to be the only guest so had Ja all to myself -she is such a lovely, friendly, knowledgeable, capable and safety conscious guide. We biked through a range of different neighbourhoods giving me a really good insight into the range of ways and locations that people live. Ja would stop at key points to give me insightful explanations as to where we were about to go, what we were about to see and useful background information. A few highlights for me included seeing three giant monitor lizards foraging on the banks and swimming in the river, a collection of pythons awaiting for relocation away from human habitation, the settlements under the motorways, the boat trip across the river and biking through the plantations on the other side, meeting a few locals, and learning and testing out a few thai words. I can't recommend highly enough. Kob kun kaa! Amelia

An absolutely great morning with our very patient guide Michael providing an informative and interesting commentary throughout our tour. We saw and rode through parts of Bangkok (just off very busy Sukhumvit Road) that were in complete contrast to that commercial strip and the short boat ride to the other side of the river brought us to the relatively undeveloped rural area we didn't know existed.
We took the private tour - not wanting to inflict our rusty bike riding skills (and elderly knees) on younger, fitter riders and we are very glad we did. Having Micheal guide us around was a real bonus.
We cannot recommend this tour highly enough and would certainly do another next time in Bangkok. Thank you Michael!!

Hi Ron, It was great having the two of you on the tour. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it so much and it was indeed good to take a private tour as we had more time this way to do everything in a relaxed way. Whenever the two of you are back in Bangkok you're always welcome to another tour or a cup of coffee

The staff, especially my guide Ja, were friendly, genuine people with excellent english. it was so nice to get out of the city and spend some time in the peaceful surrounding areas of Bangkok. In Bangkok itself, the tour and the information from the guide meant that you could understand so much more about the people living there which is why I would recommend this to every and any type of person visiting Bangkok.

Today we had a great tour through Bangkok, with lovely guide Ja!
She told us everything about Bangkok, escpecially about how the ordinary Thai live
and get through daily life. The trip to the jungle (and floating market) was part 2 of the trip.
Heavenly snacks on the market and a great lunch made this trip worth every penny.
Bikes (choice between "citybike" or "mountainbike") are in tiptop condition.
Great way to see the other side of Bangkok.
Tour is for young and old a must do!

What a lovely afternoon in hectic Bangkok, it made everything much more calm. The guide ON, is so funny and beloved, she want to learn everybody, knows your name, ask about the life in Denmark and so on, makes it more familiare.....
You have to be a good cyclist to do this trip....

What a fab excursion this bike tour is! I originally baulked a bit at the price but decided to see whether it matched the great reviews it is constantly getting.... and it really is worth it. A fabulous guide, Ja, who, with her infectious personality, made our day an absolute delight: highlights for me were walking our bikes through the local market; crossing the river on a long boat with our bikes all stacked in; cycling along the paths in the 'jungle'; tasting all the delicious foods at the floating market, and laughing all the way home cycling in a torrential downpour.
